frick that guy

quote:

"Some of the things we asked for four or five years ago, now they're building - new team meeting room, new weight room, going to feed your kids with the right nutrition," he said. "I just think there's a lot of good things - just keep winning."

quote:

"Ed Orgeron left me two very good classes, but there were two not so good and my first year wasn't very good," he said. "But if you look now at the freshmen, the redshirt freshmen and sophomores now that are going to be juniors ... we recruited some really good kids -- very fast, athletic kids. Hugh came in and did a good job of taking some good players that were left him."

quote:

One thing his mother and father said is: 'If you get Denzel, his little brother is coming to play with big brother because we're not going to two separate Saturdays,'" Nutt said of Nkemdiche. "So we knew we had a leg up with a No. 1 recruit. That helped Hugh. And then Hugh did a really good job with about three or four other really highly recruited players. You get a player like Nkemdiche and they become your No. 1 recruiter. Good players want to play with good players.

I hate Nutt as much as anyone, but I can't really dissagree with anything he said there.

We shoulda made him sign a muzzle clause that restricted him from ever speaking of ole miss again or he owes us every dime we've ever given to him.

That mother fricker went 4-8 and 2-10, and still thinks we were well on our way. He was always full of excuses, and the tone of this article makes it sound like he just wasn't given an opportunity to succeed. Granted, I know he had to deal with PB but give me a break. He got lazy, and he's envious of what Freeze has done with the same players he failed as a coach and mentor. He's a piece of shite.

He essentially blamed all his failures on Jevan Snead leaving early. He forgot the fact that we got a quarterback that was 1000x better than Snead and his arse still went 4-8 and lost to Jacksonville State.

Hard to give Nutt credit for foresight on Nkemdiche when he didn't show it anywhere else. I think that was Markuson that found Denzel anyway.

Also, on the nutrition part I'm pretty sure Nutt wanted to go with a food stipend instead of a trainer's table. Give them just enough for the dollar menu and some Oxford brown, great idea

He was giving out a Papa John's pizza to every player after they left fall camp last year.

The fact that he said we should be fighting for the west this year just proves to me that yet again he is an idiot.

Yes, he brought in Denzel. However, had he stayed, Denzel would've probably left. Denzel was very unhappy about being redshirted and felt like the staff had no idea what to do with him.

Henry is right. Masoli was so freaking good as a Rebel it wasn't funny. He was basically all we had that year.

Because they didn't. They didn't know what to with ANY of them.

Nutt said Ole Miss is "not an easy, easy place to recruit to"

How can he not realize how shitty of an excuse that is at this point?
