It's amazing the success LSU has had in odd numbered years since 2000. In those 6 seasons, LSU has:
2 National Championships
3 NC Game appearances
4 SEC Championships
5 SECCG appearances
Final rankings of 1,1,2,5 and 7

On the flip side, in even years, LSU has never made the SECCG and has finished unranked twice and finished 16th once.

In fact, the only odd year LSU hasn't made it to Atlanta in this time frame is '09. What do all these years have in common? Well, the big 4 permanent opponents on LSU's schedule every year are Florida, Bama, Arkansas and Auburn. On odd years all of these games are at home, with the exception of Bama, who everyone knows LSU beats more on the road than at home for some reason. Also, LSU is 4-1 vs Georgia (2-0 reg season) during those years as well (LSU plays @ Athens this year). Here's how the years shake up:

2001 (SEC Champions, Sugar Bowl Champions, Final Rank 7):
Florida: L
@ Bama: W
Arkansas: W
Auburn: W

2003 (SEC Champions, National Champions, Final Rank 1):
Florida: L
@ Bama: W
Arkansas: W
Auburn: W
Georgia: W
Georgia: W (ATL)

2005 (Katrina Year, SEC Championship Game, Peach Bowl Champs, Final Rank 5):
Florida: W
@ Bama: W
Arkansas: W
Auburn: W
Georgia: L (ATL)

2007 (SEC Champions, National Champions, Final Rank 1):
Florida: W
@ Bama: W
Arkansas: L
Auburn: W

2009 (Should've been Ryan Perrilloux's Sr. Season, Final Rank 17):
Florida: L
@ Bama: L
Arkansas: W
Auburn: W
Georgia: W

2011 (SEC Champions, NCG Appearance, Final Ranking #2):
Florida: W
@ Bama: W
Arkansas: W
Auburn: W
Georgia: W (ATL)

Now on to 2013...

Odds years, means usually the Fla game is in BR.

Also, though the 'Tide rarely lose in Baton Rouge'..since 1980 the 'Tigs take down TTown' with regularity.

Yeah, you actually try to talk about something other than schedules, JFF, and team votes for once and you get wolves, rainbows, and dating tips.

All the even years Miles' players were on the field.

Odd years, they were Saban's players.

Fire Miles! Though this year Sabans coaching will save us.

some of these dickheads start threads and don't even contemplate that they are going to get one upped.
