Offensive Line - Most critical group this year?

It seems we are loaded with skill players on offense. It also seems that our D may be more talented than they have been in awhile (can only go up) and they have a great leader with good assistants (no meddling by the HC). Its hard to get over confident after last year's debacle but I kind of feel like - if our O line can move the line of scrimmage and stop the blow by's - we may have a chance to do really big things. Possibly win the West???

Massive improvement, but no chance at winning the SEC West.

Offensive line will always be a critical group for success.

OL should be good, but they shoulda been good last year. Speaking of which, where did coach Grimes end up?

I feel OL is pretty solid for us this year.

For me the question marks are QB, WR, and DL.

Yea, I don't think we are loaded anywhere.

I think defensive line is probably more important. I think the offense will get their licks in, obviously OL play is important but there is room for error.

I think the DL is more important because we all know how disruptive a good DL can be. I think back to 2010 often and that defensive line, Fairley in particular of course, really carried the defense on their backs. I think looking back at recruiting for the last few years, we have arguably, the most talent on the team on the defensive line. If that talent produces then I think we can see a large improvement on defense as a whole.

I feel like I have better odds of winning megamillions than Auburn does of winning the West

Meddling by the HC may have made us worse but that is not what made us go 3-9, we simply weren't good.

Without a QB, doesn't matter if our OLine are brick walls

We have above average talent with skill players until proven otherwise. With good protection and good playcalling, we should be a good offense but if we lead the league in categories, it is due to the HUNH style not due to pure talent. That is until proven otherwise

You do realize that the team quit last year. Talent will not show up if you are not 100% jacked every game. That team just wanted it over. If Gus scores 30 a game we will win most every game (I dont' think we've ever) lost. If our O line is dominate - we will score 30 a game. Peace.

Oh - I'm also banking on our special athlete that started at CB as a true frosh in the SEC - will be a special QB with Malzahn designing the offense behind him. He won't be Cam - but he damn sure will be better than Todd or Trotter.

Don't mind all of them, they have MSU fan syndrome. They're still recovering from the beatings from last season.

By the way you underestimated this team by just saying West Division Champs.

I believe the O line has been the key - I will provide more analysis in the future. Take note.
