UCLA is a distinct possibility for Soso.

That would be great. I haven't followed his recruitment close enough.

Mods at whorns24/7 just put out an update that after strong had an in-home yesterday with Mack, that he's going to pick between TCU and them with us a distant third.
Don't believe anything Mack says. He is a complete flake. Would I like to have him? Yes. There is no telling where this guy ends up, he probably won't decide until he hears it come out of his own mouth. My guess and your guesses are as good as whorns24/7, or any other full time recruiting guru. No one is in the know with this clown.
Hope ESPN allotted about half hour for him because he ain't going to give up the mic too easy.

They were the favorite until all this recent momentum for Texas. If Murray/Mack go elsewhere I bet he heads out west.

I'm just ready for all this drama to be over with and get on to next season.
The only thing I know for sure when it comes to all of this recruiting bs is that winning solves all these problems

2-3 weeks ago Kyler and Daylon had zero interest in Texa$$. Daylon canceled his OV there and said as much. Kyler has said "nobody is going to Texas".
It makes no sense to me how within days they could have changed their minds. It just doesn't pass the smell test.

Why are the Horn247 mods so confident they are going to get Boyd? Larry Pryor was confident after his OV that he was going to be an Aggie.

Seems like all the horn sites are confident about everyone, hope it blows up in their face

The confidence scares me the most. Most of them have really gone hard with the tu leads or is ahead line

It really is amazing. If I looked at their board and didn't know what day it was I could assume every single target signed. The few peeps of unsureness are immediately met with multiple people calling for that poster to be banned.
I guess it just supports their stereotype even further (Mack Brown is not OUR standard, We're Texas). Results be damned, it's all about the perception. They've really been earning the t-sip name as of late.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.
Did the falling out between Sumlin and Kevin Murray occur because Kevin Murray demanded to be hired on in a "quarterback consultant" capacity (and basically be his son's coach) and Sumlin said "no"?
And UT leads now because Strong is willing to get on board with consultantizing Kevin Murray?

I think Kevin has expressed an interest in wanting to continue to be involved with Kylers playing. I DO NOT believe this means he wants to be paid, but I can picture Sumlin or any good coach being hesitant to allow a parent that kind of input and access.
Charlie probably threw him the key to the locker room and told Kevin he could be there with his son 24/7 if he wanted.
To a dad that has mentored and coached up his boy, it probably means a whole lot.
Maybe they work out a compromise, well know after Friday, but Kyler is still an A&M commit until he says otherwise
Fingers crossed

Hop has been adamant about these kids stringing along recruiting services. I think we may have real surprises positive and negative in the next week.

Has Sumlin had an in home with Holton Hill yet?
