Ricky deberrymay still be in play after out Dc hire. And he'd be able to be the crown jewel LB in our class now that Malik isn't here.

Hamm is desperate for clicks. While Wednesday was a bad day for Sumlin, the DC hire is bigger than one recruit. I'd rather have this hire done right than pleasing one highly touted recruit who may be in and out in 3 years.
As a matter of fact, one recruit does not make a class. Worse comes to worse, we lose Kyler as well and we still have a top 25 class. Hamm needs to go follow people into truck stop restrooms w/ glory holes instead of harrasing recruits.

about two weeks ago, a member of our staff tried to reach out and rebuild the bridge with 247. It's really in everyone's best interests that there are good relations.
So info was passed to Hamm in order to manage expectations and rebuild that bridge. Hamm completely missed the point and ended up backstabbing the staffer. The problem is, Hamm is so oblivious, I don't even think he realized what a shitstorm (not going to elaborate) he created for our coaches. IMO he has to go. We can't constantly be putting out fires with recruits that he starts.
