My guess is he's just extremely tired of being hit up by randoms at this point. And since he posted this on twitter, it's probably his way of saying if I don't know you, I'm not responding to twitter DMs from you

Whatever you think of Hamm, I'm pretty sure he's talked a bunch with Malik, so doesn't really fall into this category.

Hamm, how critical is the lsu game to keeping this recruiting class in tact? To our ability to land Malik/Sheffleld/Kirk? If we lay on egg/play it close or must we win?

Hamm's response:

It's important to keep it competitive but the outcome won't have a huge affect one way or the other. I go back to what Mr. Jefferson told me the other day, which has been supported by Mr. Sheffield, who I speak with multiple times a week, these kids understand where A&M is lacking talent and the opportunity to make an impact early on. Sumlin, along with the decision makers at A&M, know what's at stake, and Sumlin especially knows this new hire at DC will make or break his career at A&M. He will get it right. Both A&M and Texas aren't exactly having stellar seasons. Texas still gave up 45 points to IOWA STATE and 41 to BYU at home in a blowout which is about as embarrassing as what Bama did to A&M. I get that Texas has shown improvement over the last few weeks but in the grand scheme of things both A&M and Texas haven't done anything to blow away these defensive recruits. That's the perception whether Horn fans agree with or not.

I think he saw with Dupre and Quinn coming in he wouldn't get the looks he gets at aTm. Plus the WRs at aTm were a little bit overrated (looking at Ricky Seals-Jones). Speedy has 40 catches at aTm this year, he'd be lucky to have half that this year at LSU.

In their last game vs Arkansas, ULSU had 12 completions for 87 yards. Dupre had 1 catch for 6 yards and Quinn had none. Combined the two have 29 catches and Dupre is their 2nd leading WR.

I couldn't agree more with the swamp kitten. Speedy would be very lucky to have 20 catches for them. Very very lucky.

First, "Speedy" Noil is big time overrated. From what I've seen, the guy is a mid 4* AT BEST according to Rivals scheme (5.9)....a 5*? In fact, he caused an INT the other week for Allen by a ball boucing off his hands/chest that was thrown perfectly to him. Is he decently fast? Yes! Does he deserve the name "speedy?" Hardly! And as far as Noel Ellis goes, my brother watches most plays of A&M...he has never even heard of Ellis. I heard of him only through his recruiting. I have watched a lot of A&M also...never seen the guy play a defensive snap but maybe he has. Noel Ellis would be a big time bust IF he had been that highly ranked to begin with. Glad he went to A&M. Thanks but no thanks for a guy who can't even get playing time on the pitiful defense of A&M!

I think this one is upset you guys

so...

MSU pulled West Mesquite QB Chason Virgil's offer today. He's been committed to MSU since May 15th and is an early enrollee so is scheduled to graduate mid-Dec. Mullen clearly knows little of TX HS coaching. This is going to get around fast. Here's Virgil's coach

Pretty dumb. They probably could have been a decent player for some good dual threat spread QBs in TX in the next couple years with their success and they just kind of undid it

Wouldn't be a bad idea, but again, like you said, do we have room? Also, would it look like we're taking Jefferson and McNeal's quarterback just to get them?

Any reason why the offer was pulled? He's not a bad prospect. A little raw but still.....could shine for someone anyway...

If Kenny is transferring it makes sense to offer two QBs, since apparently transferring as soon as you lose the starting job is the new normal. But it would mainly be for depth, he's already got offers from P5 schools with much shakier QB situations than ours where he wouldn't have to beat two 5-stars.

Yep - this is going to definitely hurt State's reputation in Texas (especially Metroplex area). Hell, one of the best things Sherman did for us is repair the image that Fran left us with
