Duente Chatman picking up steam to the good guys. Jay Bradford tweeted "I spy another aggie RB". Hamm tweeted Fb (full back) and DC confirmed

Malik did an interview with the TA staff. He sounds Texas bound to me.

Malik doesn't want to play for Snyder. That should be reason enough to get rid of him.

It has seemed that way for a while.

Agreed. Pretty unfortunate if we can't address our biggest need with the best instate LB recruit in a while.

Our linebacker recruiting has been criminal negligence.

2010 class: Nate Askew was eventually moved to Linebacker from WR, Domonique Patterson was the only linebacker signed

2011 class: Shaun Ward transferred after 2 years of minimal playing time, Darzil Washington never played, Tyrone Taylor basically never played, and Donnie Baggs hasn't done much at all. Jenkins started for 3 seasons.

2012 class: Jordan Richmond got kicked off the team for pot distribution, Michael Richardson hurt his spine

2013 class: Darian Claiborne got kicked off the team for robbery, Tommy Sanders is inept, Brett Wade hasn't seen much of the field, Reggie Chevis is so bad he's playing at DL now, and Shaan Washington is a converted safety. Mastrogiovanni is not the answer at Mike

2014 class: Otaro Alaka and Josh Walker have played every game except for South Carolina, but are both true freshmen

At some point, wrist size, measurements and all of that other bullshite have to be thrown aside in favor of simply having enough people physically able to play the position.

Dat Nguyen was 5'11 230, yet he was one of the best linebackers we ever had.

Johnnie Holland was a quarterback in H.S.

Same reason Stephen McGee went to A&M.

There is every reason to question Hagen, but melting over things that happened years ago and he has no control over is absurd. We have 3 2015 LB commits right now. We expect to take 5. They fricking know we've had attrition dude.

Please take your life melt to someplace besides the recruiting thread.

But why have a defensive coordinator who doesn't also coach any positions? The fact that we have a secondary, dline, and lb coach all separate from the dc is a big problem.

Show me a successful SEC defensive coordinator and I'll show you a coach who also coaches either linebackers or safeties.

why is this completely random and useless post in the recruiting thread?

eta: the melt threads are further down the board. You've created like 32 yourself. Use one.

damarkus lodge is tearing it up for cedar hill tonight against desoto. sure would've been nice to add him.

Also, our defensive struggles might have to do with the fact that apparently they don't play defense in texas highschool football. It's 65-42 cedar hill with 4 minutes left.

Eta: cedar hill coach looking like a dick when he got pissed that cedar hill students ran onto desoto's field. I get why he was upset, but he came off looking like an a-hole.

Per 247, we now have 2 new linebacker targets, both JUCO: Claude George and Caleb Potter.

Not highly rated compared to the rest of our targets, but they have 2 years of LB play not being coached by Snyder/Hagan

Does that tell us something about Malik?

Not sure, but it might lend truth to the rumor that Chevis and Wade may leave.
