I will be bummed if Johnny doesn't play for the Aggies this year, but there will still be plenty to look forward to.

Our expectations will go down, but my hope for my team(s) is the same every year: to exceed expectations.

The reason last year was so great is that the Aggies exceeded just about everyone's expectations.

If your team exceeds expectations every year, you will eventually win a national championship. The tricky part comes after that when expectations are unrealistic. Ask LSU fans. I'd say ask Alabama fans, but Saban has done an incredible job exceeding expectations there.

True, aggy football had over a century of sustained success on the football field before JFF showed up.

Look at it as a season ending ACL in preseason.

My Saturdays may not be quite as fun, but my life will go on.

I still just don't see him getting suspended. As a fellow Kerrville guy and Tivy grad, I really want to see him succeed. But damn he seems to make quite a few questionable calls off the field.

It definitely makes games like @AR and @OM a lot more interesting. In fact, I don't think A&M goes into Oxford and wins without him. Possible major upset @MIZ without him?

I agree. We will still score a lot of points without him.

It just sucks that the most anticipated season, like ever, will probably go to waste to some extent because poor and selfish decisions were made. Its a shame. Whether he loses 4 games or the entire season its bad for college football fans everywhere.

The SEC is better with him in it. And with all his baggage.

I know our fans hope he comes to tiger stadium. It's not often you have a home game against a Heisman trophy winner

I don't get why some of you are seemingly conceding a year long suspension. He MIGHT be suspended for 2-4 games.

You are high. Your team will suck this season again and we will still be able to score plenty of points. Could probably run the ball the entire game against y'all.

I think we lose 3 without him. Bama, LSU, Ole Miss.

if, and i mean IF, he gets a full year suspension, all it does is throw away any chance we have against bama and LSU. we should still win our other games

I honestly think that there are also parties involved in wanting to ensure that the NCAA does everything possible to make an example out of him. Industries would lose millions of dollars if he doesn't play a full year. People that were not even fans of either team just tuned in to watch him.

More brokers could surface. The dude has signed A LOT of autographs.

Ole miss would be a close game. Everyone else on the schedule is pretty terrible.

See that's just it with Bama, and it's why most people call Bama delusional and a bit crazy. The expectation is ALWAYS a national championship. Doesn't matter who is on the team. Doesn't matter who graduates or who is ruled ineligible. The expectation is to win it all every year, until it is completely impossible to pull it off.

Don't lower you expectations because one player is gone. frick that noise. Keep em high. Say that the next guy up is just as good. Say your team will pull together and shock the damn world.

That pleasantly surprised stuff is for pussies and losers.
