So apparently they aren't selling any seats in the northeast zone club (sections ZC26 and 27 I think) until they get the sight line issues figured out.

I suppose it's for the best since those two sections were almost empty for every game last year. I just don't see how that got overlooked in the design process. Even IF they didn't factor in that the students next to the section would be standing, the seats are directly parallel to the field and sit about tend yards behind the endzone. Your only decent view even without the students standing is of the band forming.

So just like old section 100 and 149 where those sections didn't even start till after the back of the endzone?

That's really disappointing but not surprising to hear. I got all kinds of ripped apart on TexAgs when I pointed out that Populous has a habit of creating large swaths of seats that have god awful sight lines. Instead of people looking at the pics of places like the Mets Citi Field where fans gets stuck with bullshite I was accused of being a sip due to my lack of an AgTag.

It was address by someone on TA by.... someone with the 12th Man Foundation. I don't recall who. They said there was a plan for that section, but I don't recall them going into specifics. I'll see if I can dig up the post.

Question: Has a solution been found and implemented for the obstructed views in the zone club? I'm talking about the two or three sections on the east side. (aggieheart)
Answer: First, know that none of those obstructed view seats are available to be selected in Phase 1 of the seating process. Second, we have identified a solution, and we are very excited about what will take place in this area. The solution not only solves the obstructed view for the zone club seats affected in this area, but also adds additional loge seating options to greatly enhance the northeast corner of the stadium. These zone club seats and loge seating options will first be offered to donors who selected in the Zone Club during Phase 1 with remaining inventory made available to donors participating in Phase 2.

Those will he John Sharp's 12 empty seats to commemorate the spirit of the 12th man and/or the 12 Aggies who passed during the 1999 bonfire.

The print press are all oohing and ahhing about the new Press Box. I meant that's cool and all but they can be in an underground dungeon for all I care.

This is one of those small things that helps us. If they like the box they will be more positive about us and their time in Aggieland.

I'm confused. Am I supposed to be seeing a picture of the new Zone entrance? I see the old one. I would love to see what the new one looks like.

yes, the first picture is the new Zone entrance. Best guess is it was taken from the deck in front of the Bookstore. It seems to be from a higher angle though so maybe not.

Looking at it, it's very easy to confuse with the East side so I'm guessing that is what you were thinking

Oh wow nice. I thought we weren't going to mess with the Zone. Is it all just window dressing or are we redoing the insides too?

It's odd because I only see the picture of the old Zone. Oh well, I guess I'll have to go visit soon.

Window dressing so that the facade is consistent. It was in the original renderings but they changed the timing of it (I believe it was originally slated to be re-done last year)

my guess is you have an ad-blocker or something that is keeps imgur images from posting. If you have add-ons to your browser you may want to check that (if you want to allow them)
