WHO would YOU rather have on your d-line this year....2010 Fairley or Clowney?

Fairley was the 2nd main piece in making Auburn national champions. He found a way to take the opponent's qb out of the game within the rulebooks. He won the Lombardi.

Clowney led his team in sacks and knocked a guy's helmet off on a cool play.

Fairly. A disruptive DT is more valuable.

Honestly probably Fairley. Solid defensive ends in the college game are plentiful. Guys that can collapse the pocket consistently from the DT position are rare.

I'd say Clowney! He is the real deal. I give Fairley his due but Clowney is special!

I was thinking the same thing. Suh, Fairley, and Sapp were in a league of their own.

Fairly. I can't stand that bastard, but such a dominant DT is much more rare than an excellent DE. Even if that DE is Clowney

I think Peria Jerry in 2008 was just as disruptive as Fairley was in 2010.
