After Texas this season and Boise next season, we don't have any marquee OOC games. So with that said, what teams would you like to see us to a home and home with (or a neutral site game with). I much prefer home and home series', so with that said I would like to see us play:

Nebraska
Virginia Tech
Florida St
Oregon (when we get better, that would be a great game)
Michigan
Penn St
Washington

I'd like to see teams like BYU, Colorado, Wake Forest, Va Tech, Purdue, WV. Not great teams but just a decent team.

I also only one see one. I would like to keep three cupcakes for as long as the SEC doesn't decide to go to more conference games.(which will probably happen soon) Keep it simple. Play some cupcakes and one mid level team like the ones I named, then see what you got in SEC play. Bama does it every single year.

We have a home/home with Georgia Tech in 2017 and 2018... Glad we're getting the U of Memphis back on the schedule... Looking forward to stomping their asses some more (Sorry UMTR) ... This city is vital to Freeze's success during his tenure at Ole Miss. FUTURE OOC OPPONENTS

No hard feelings there at all. Memphis football is terrible. That's a school where basketball is the money maker, and always will be. I look forward to playing them again though, since it's usually a win. My loyalties lie with OM, not with Memphis, even though I went there.

Tulane
Georgia State
Miami

Not exactly "exciting" but smart. Fun away games, in big cities in NFL stadiums also OM recruiting territory. We have enough excitement in th SEC.

Yeah I was there. I enjoyed it too. Their fans were pretty cool and it was a decent game.

What most people haven't realized is Texas has to play them before Ole Miss comes to Austin.

None.

We play 8 (probably 9 in the near future) SEC games a year. We don't need "marquee" OOC games until we are DAMN CERTAIN that we've attained a LONG TERM spot at the top of the conference with Bama, LSU, UF and UGA. So that means that for the next 5 years, we schedule pussy FBS teams (no FCS, ever) for all 4 OOC games and then ONLY if we are actually really good and we see no reason that we will slip down any time soon, THEN we schedule an "interesting" OOC game that fans would like to see. Which means they wouldn't appear on the schedule until 3 to 5 years from then, which means we wouldn't see "interesting" OOC games for about another 10 years from now.

Done.

Let's keep Memphis on our schedule because they're in a BCS conference now (good for strength of schedule), they're just up the road, we can keep dominating Memphis for recruits, and Interstate Barbecue.

I'm fine with that. I know some people are dead against it, but it matters not to me.

Also long as Tulane stays on, IDGAF whom else we schedule OOC, as long as two conditions are met.

1) No FCS teams... EVER. It's beneath us as a program and it's a huge pussy move.
2) No team who has won their conference or conference division in the past 5 years or who appears to be trending/building a strong program.

I want a steady diet of .500 range teams who are good enough that we have to play our starters to get ahead in the first half, but bad enough to be able to play our 2nd and 3rd string in the second half and still win.

I agree ... our four OOC games should look as such IMO.

1) Memphis
2) Scrub (FCS or Sunbelt)
3) Marquee Match-up
4) Less than the Marquee but better than Memphis

We should play Tulane every year.

Memphis fans are degenerate retards - they are awful when they come to Oxford.
