Tennessee vs South Carolina in Knoxville 2013

Even on the Carolina board, that's the away game they seem to fear the most.
They cite two reasons: TN's OL and the fact Tennessee is tired of getting their face kicked in by South Carolina.
Is this going to be Carolina's toughest road game?

You obviously didn't read the thread title. It may be the toughest in the series of three consecutive which consist of Mizzou, Arkansas, and Vols.
Of course it's not the toughest of all our road games.
That lies with UCF in Orlando.

well, I can just move the post here if you want to share with everyone.
tenn will probably be the more difficult mathup out of those 3, but I think that will just be b/c they're tired of us kicking their teeth in since Spurrier got here. The vololol's will make a big deal before the game about Clowney's comments about Tiny and this will fire every hillbilly up. Their defense will still be awful though and their offense will be run dependent....on second thought, we're going to beat the shite out of all 3.

Solid OL that kept Clowney in check in all but one play. They had us on the ropes at home so I don't blame SC fans for being worried, but SC fans don't seem to realize that besides their OL, UT lost a lot of that potent offense from last season.
Not to mention we've only won in Knoxville twice. Once by 1 pt and the other was a couple years ago. We had control of the game but didn't exactly set the world on fire. I think SC fans expected to win in 2009 and we got blasted, lost our only 2 OT games up there, etc.

Lack of reading comprehension.

I think we will be pretty mediocre, but a win vs. S. Carolina definitely wouldn't surprise me.

Yeah, 5-3 sure is kicking the Vols teeth in. I guess for a team with USClight's history, that actually is kicking a team's teeth in.

Tennessee is also I believe returning back to the 4-3 as their base scheme...were 4-3, then last season under Sunseri converted to a 3-4 which was an unmitigated disaster. Still, with an entirely new staff, new schemes all around, and new starters at leadership positions (QB, WR, TE) the Vols will have their work cut out for sure.
I honestly think Missouri will be a tough one because it's the 3rd game of a long away stretch, and we're unfamiliar with Mizzou's stadium and city. Mizzou may end up finishing higher in the standings than either Arky or UT...

I am bit worried about UT on the road for UGA. Let's just imagine, far stretch I know, that UGA goes 4-0 through September. We then travel to UTk following the LSU game. That is going to be a tough challenge after our opening 4 game stretch.

It's almost like USC fans are huddled together in their private hut, whispering amongst themselves, then deeprig evesdrops and runs out into the center of the village, shouting out what he discovered and pointing back at us....
