Conference Overall
SEC W-L PF PA W-L PF PA
LSU 6-2 180 150 10-3 387 228
A&M 6-2 313 168 11-2 578 283

Better overall record, same conference record.
LSU: Most of their points came out of conference (207), but gave up most of their points in conf. play (150). LSU gave up 18.75 pts per conf. game, while only scoring 22.5 pts per conf. game. A differential of 3.75. Their average loss was by 6 points.

A&M: Most of their points in conf. play. A&M gave up 21 pts per conf. game, while scoring 39.13 pts per game. A differential of 18.13 in conference play. A&M's average loss was 4 points

But enough with numbers.

Both teams lost to florida.

LSU only beat 5 teams by more than one touchdown, these powerhouses include North Texas, Washington, Idaho, Towson, and State.

LSU struggled against auburn, arky, ole miss, and SC.

LSU had their ominous night game in death valley against bama, and didn't lead until the 4th quarter. They were getting spanked until McCarron forgot how to hand a ball off inside the LSU 25 yard line with a 1:00 left in the 3rd qtr.

Final Rankings:
#5 A&M
#14 LSU

Better team:
[X] A&M
[ ] LSU

Looking forward to a sig bet in the coming weeks.

ETA: LSU/A&M game
One misses extra point, 2 missed field goals. 6 pts left on the field, with a 5pt LSU victory. A questionable clipping call. A fluke interception because of Mike Evan's.

LSU won and their defense was nails, but it could've easily gone the other way.

Looking forward to going to Death Valley this year.

LSU fans are busy arguing over their legitimacy with Ole Miss fans right now.

I think A&M was better at the end, but it's splitting hairs. LSU was kind of Jekyll and Hyde last year

LSU clamped down on ATM in the 2nd half of their game last year. Head to Head LSU prevails.

The only numbers you should be concerned with are 24 and 19

24 > 19

LSU 2012 > Texas A&M 2012

Don't think LSU would have surrendered 50 to La. Tech.

You had a better season by one game. Kind of hard to dispute that.

As for better team? Well we did beat you in your house so there's that. If we had beat you and you went 12-1 and we went 8-4 that would be one thing but a win for us and just a one game difference makes it reasonable for us to say we were the better team.

I have no problem with anything you say in the OP.

Except that we lost in our game to them. I like to talk shite to LSU fans as much as the next guy, but on that day and in that game, they were better than we were.

There are no moral victories. Don't head down that road.

Dont think A&M would have lost to an ACC team in the chicken bowl. I know they didnt blow a late lead against Bama.
