Seems like we can't go 1 day with out him being in the news. Heard on ESPN radio today that his dad is very concerned about his drinking and said more than likely this will be his last year in College Station(which I think we all knew already).

Remember when ESPN used to report the news and not create it?

Is there a point the shite this kid deals with goes so far the Rant roots for him? I know he brings alot on him self. But people don't take pictures of every where famous players go and have a beer or smoke a bowl. The media doesn't hammer players non-stop for every little thing. It seems by now much of the Rant would realize JFF like to party but is not a Douche Bag, but rather is a bad arse competitor who is having his persona developed by douche bag frat guys, picture takers, media people whatever.

Cam was Cocky on the field like JFF. Cam spoke like he should when interviewed. But Cam wasn't photographed everywhere he went. Tebow - like it or not went to bars as well. The people that think he did not not are in denial. He took Hernandez to a bar as his host. He was at a bar during the fight. But had the clout to tell cop to keep his name off the report. You think that is how JFF would be treated.

It just seems at some point you gotta say Jesum, this kid is on ESPN for being at FIJI party for his shirt - I hope his kicks arse. Yea - I dont hope he beats my team but I'm root'n for the kid.

Wouldn't you love to see those damn reporters have to eat crap with no salt.

People are on this kid because he's his own worst enemy right now. Instead of trying to shy away form the spotlight he jumps in the middle of it every time. That article makes it seem like his parents are afraid for him and that's sad. He's not listening to anyone around him right now and that won't bode well come football season when he has to play nice with others. However, he'll get HUGE ratings this year so ESPN will make sure to dish out story after story to make sure they catch everyone's attention.

The biggest irony is that most posters on the rant really don't want the kid to fail. They'd like if he had a non-stellar game against their team but trolling and shite throwing aside, they don't want to watch a kid fail.

ESPN truly has a hard on for him to fail. They're hoping for it so much, they want those ratings.

Reading the article, I really feel for him.

It put some things in context, and the MSM is really out to get him. I can't imagine being in his position at 20yo. I'd probably have a major breakdown.

Go get 'em Johnny

I wonder how much of any of this is going to matter if he beats Bama? Also I laugh at the fact that Johnny's buddy is his PR guy/handler. Some people must have really loved Entourage a little too much.
