Gamecock commit and OL prospect Christian Pellage was deciding between USC and UF and scheduled his final decision tonight. He has tweeted that he remains a Gamecock commit!

We are just waiting on Key and Fenton now. Key cancelled his OV to auburn this weekend, which is obviously good for us, as it doesn't give them a last ditch effort to convince him.
Also SC got his last OV and SOS went to see him Monday.
It's b/w us and lsu right now. We won't know anything is real though until an LOI is signed, sent and received to our Athletic Dept.

That's fair, sometimes it isn't real until they register for classes, I think we've had a guy or two sign LOI's but not qualify or something else happens. So I see your point.

4* DE Prince Tega Wanogho Jr, the guy who reclassified from the '16 class to the '15 class recently, but then broke his leg playing basketball, is coming to OV at SC on Feb 20th. He will not sign on NSD and wait until after his visits to make a choice.

Key allegedly told Ward this weekend that lsu leads now. So who knows if that rumor is true or not, or IF that is really what he was thinking and not just trying to add more drama to the announcement. Many of the 247 media people are flipping their CB's to lsu, even the Gamecock site people.
Either way, he'll announce at 7 p.m. tonight, and then we won't really know anything until a LOI is signed, sent, and received on the 4th. Key was absolutely successful at creating drama and hype around his announcement.
If Key comes to SC, that's awesome, he would have almost a lock opportunity to make the 2Deep his 1st year, and with enough good work could even start. If he goes to lsu, we are still loaded this class at DE (Lewis, Sawyer, Wideman, Blackshear, Whitlow.)

It ain't lookin' good. Buddy of mine in Redan just texted me that he is in the crowd and the whole family just came in the back door wearing LSU gear and immediately covered-up in baggy nondescript clothes.
He also said when he was coming through the parking lot he talked to Key's "Aunty" and she said, in no uncertain terms, that he was going to LSU.

Still five minutes away ... but suddenly, for some reason, this is pissing me off.
... just got a text. Parents sporting a lot of new stuff for signing. It's LSU. They got a new car, new clothes, even new swag.
Still five+ minutes away. He's not taken the stage yet. Twitter momma is tweeting about her little boy ... everyone there is saying "LSU."
ETA: My buddy, who moved from Charleston to Redan to be closer to his grandkids, says, from where he is sitting right now this night reminds him of Moe Thompson and his mother the night he flipped from UNC to USC. He said he's about to get-up and walk-out it's so obvious. It's alllllll LSU.
ETA II: His header picture just changed on twitter to him as a baby in LSU colors.
ETA III ... but Ward is a "father figure" to him.
