Clelin Ferrell is one of the best DE's in the country, and he wants to come here. We are getting really full at DE, I wonder if he's a take? He could play other positions too I bet.

Welp, it looks like both 2014 CB Wesley Green and 2015 DE Arden Key have decommitted from us today. No word yet as to why, but both tweeted earlier this past week that something was up. Hurts both classes. Hopefully our staff can get up with them and straighten things out. I understand that Coach Ward made a visit to Green's and Key's HS game yesterday, so perhaps some thing developed then. Hopefully we can get Arden back into our class...

Yeah I figured there would be some drama with the 2015 class, with several of them being highly rated prospects and committing to us so early in the process. Blackshear is a consensus 5* and Key was on the brink of being one (he's a 5* per Rivals I think). An awful lot of programs will be coming after them.

With the depth issues at DE, I honestly couldn't think there'd be an issue with Key thinking about PT, but it's possible I guess...

Washington (5-9, 170) is in the mold of Ace Sanders: he played his Fr. season at First Coast, then his family moved to Maryland for one year, then moved back to Jacksonville, and he's back at First Coast. Also highly rated OLB Sherrod Pittman is scheduled to announce his commitment tomorrow at 6:30pm. Pittman attended UF's Friday Night Lights camp this weekend, and he's reportedly down to UF and USC. Several "insiders" are saying that USC is the slight lead. Pittman attended a camp at USC last month. So stay tuned for more news...

Washington has been added to USC's 2015 commitment list by GCC of Rivals. Still not sure why he has been kept off the commit lists by the services for this class, but he's all along been describing himself as committed and a part of the class, and he's made statements that the USC coaching staff is happy to have him as part of the class. But none of the online services were acknowledging him, until now. It's been strange regarding his recruitment....

Jalen Christian. #11 Athlete, #87 Overall and #1 in MD on 247, has us in his Top 3, along with Maryland and Va Tech. His mom went to Va Tech, but she really likes Mangus. He like the "home team" feel of Maryland too though.

South Carolina - “I visited there. I like the way the coaches and players interact. That caught my eye. I can see myself in their offense. (Columbia) reminds me of my hometown. I like how they use their small slot receivers. (Quarterbacks) coach (GA) Mangus tells me day in, day out its my decision. My mom has a great relationship with him.”

We are recruiting him as a slot receiver.

Apparently Rasool Clemons, **** WDE visited this past weekend as well. He's an instate guy but does not have a USC offer.

We're pretty full at DE, but I think if Key doesn't re-commit and Green goes elsewhere then we might offer.
