From Georgia myself. But, grew up not far from the Georgia / South Carolina line....so, I am well aware of the beauty of your state.

Just wondering what part of the great Palmetto state some of you may be from......

Lancaster, 22 miles from the North Carolina line. I am both a Gamecock and Dawg fanatic. USC is my alma mater and Georgia is the first college team I ever pulled for. I wish they never played each other.

Oh, nobody hates the ACC more than I. Only ACC team I have any use for is Georgia Tech.

Born in Greenville, was there a year or two (Dad taught at Clemson briefly). Then ATL. Then Columbia (most of my life). Then DC. Now Charleston.

Definitely a small world. I'm surprised by all of the ppl in/near Aiken on here. My parents actually live in New Ellenton now.

He was Governor of SC when I was born so it was not like I grew-up knowing him, although I did to some degree because my Dad knew him well. Actually, in Edgefield, pretty much everyone knew Strom, loved and respected him. I know Nancy much better, she and I being the same age and having worked with her on some fund raisers back in the day - but Strom was always around and always took care of South Carolinians.

I can guarantee you that he is spinning in his grave these days over what the piece of shite Lindsey Graham is doing. Lindsey fooled us all.
