Seems to be a choice between Arky and A&M. How do the Hogs feel about landing him?

His cousin signed in this last class with Arkansas and many thought he would end up at Arkansas as well. Haven't heard much about the kid lately though. I think he even shut down his twitter account.

I felt a lot better last month than I do this month. I think it's like 60% A&M 40% Arky. If we get an official visit and send him some sluts and hushpuppies then I like our chances more.

Sure would like to get him, and I guess we are still technically in the running and maybe even led at one point, but seems that aTm got serious and turned up the heat on him and leads now.
Did aTm lose out on someone they had ahead of him, or just were late evaluating him?

Is his offer commitable from both schools? He has tried to commit to us twice and both times told he couldn't at the moment.

It's definitely commitable to Arkansas. We have one running back already who is a "big back" but the coaches want a shifty Melvin Gordon type guy that can play in the slot or in the backfield.
I think the biggest downside for us is distance from home. He really doesn't seem like he wants to go to school this far away. Baton Rouge and College Station are both DRASTICALLY closer to Newton than Fayetteville.

don't think we lost out on anyone.
We're not landing Fournette, already got Nixon and the only other guy we offered committed to Baylor a long time ago.

We have an outside shot at Joe Mixon out of California, he's taking one of his official visits to the Bama game. But there's a long way to go there.

This. I saw an article recently where he said he hopes we don't take another running back. I hope this doesn't give him cold feet, because I think he'd be a great fit in our offense.
