I totally missed that Franklin is making $3 million. What is the asterisk for? He has such a cush job. Win half your games, and you're a hero.

Vandy is a private school and his contract is probably not public.

It's an estimated figure. Vandy is a private school so they don't have to release that information.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but as far as Miles is concerned he doesn't owe any thanks to tax payers.

Whatever happened to that clause put in Miles' contract after the 2007 season that said he had to be paid a dollar more than any SEC coach?
