computer/ outlook express help please....

anyone know what to click, what the issue is when you're in outlook express and you can view a pic in your preview pane but when you try to click on the paperclip to bring up the pic you get an error? guy at work has this issue- he thinks it's the computer, i think it's just some setting got fubarred...

it's saying something about the file type.
so, i've figured out this much, his jpg is trying to open using adobe acrobat when it needs to use windows viewer or whatever. the problem now is it won't let you change it- even going in as administrator it won't allow it.

You can't right click the jpg and open with Windows Viewer? You may need to save the file to the computer first, then try it.

Yes on both- saving to computer then opening and yes it opened fine on my computer from the inbox,
Guess this can be deleted now- still don't understand why you can't change that in the file options tho. Or when did the 'open with' option go away?

The 'open with' option still doesn't exist after saving the attachment somewhere first?

Right click a random jpg on his pc, properties, open with windows viewer or w/e, check always use this program, apply. If that doesnt work lemme know.
