Hentges, Lock and Ofodile all on the list as well. Still don't get wtf is up with not offering Ofodile yet.

OK, just grasping at straws here. Is it possible grades could be in question on Ofodile? Maybe they're waiting on test scores or something?

Might be semo. I don't know what else it is. But I'd also think it's a bit early to know if grades are a concern or not. Surely, if there's problems, 2 years or 1 1/2 years is enough time to fix it.

Dad played for Mizzou.
In Mizzou's backyard.
Dad coaches his high school team.
Recognized as top 250 recruit so must be decent.
Other in-state recruits already offered for 2015.

Was his dad unhappy with his time at Mizzou? I have no idea. Just seems wierd.

I wouldn't worry too much about it.

My daughter is good friends with his sister. She just started her freshman year at Mizzou and is all Mizzou.

If I remember right, AJ was on Bob Stull's last team. Not a very good time in Missouri history.

Thanks ox. Just doesn't make sense to me but I won't worry. Good to hear they're all Mizzou.

AJ is one of the best posters on the other site. He always brings great insight and knowledge to football related topics. I would agree he holds Mizzou very favorable and has no issues with Alex's recruitment. It appears he is doing a great job providing guidance and raising Alex right.

It will still be nice though when the offer is official!!!!

Here is a series of really interesting tweets.

Alex Ofodile @alexofodile4

If I had no offers right now and Mizzou still hadn't offered me nobody would be throwing a fit right now.

Obviously I don't have a offer from them for a reason. So everybody just let me prove myself this year to them to earn that offer

Because at the end of the day I'm going to pick the place that's the best fit for me. Whether it's mizzou or not

If mizzou offers me because another school has then that's not fair to me. I want them to be able to watch me and say I deserve an offer

I just still have to prove myself which I will do. So everybody can calm down

I like him and how he's handling/approaching it. I'll take stock in the fact that him and his family is still all Mizzou as someone earlier pointed out. Still don't like not offering him, but will rest easy with it.

Looks like the kid is getting the AJ Logan treatment. I'm guessing there is a reason for doing this with local kids. Maybe those kids feel like they should get special treatment sometimes since they are local and easy pickings for Mizzou and the coaches prefer to light a little fire under them and make them perform their senior years before offering. Helps weed out the kids with entitlement issues, possibly.

My guess from this kid's comments is the staff has guaranteed him a spot if he proves himself this fall.

It seems like with the comments he made that if Mizzou were to offer thats who he would choose. The way he worded things to me sounds like he wants to earn that offer and doesnt want to be handed to him. Im sure at some point he will get it.

The only thing that can stop Drew Lock is halftime. Add a 23 yd TD, his 6th. 13-18 for 321 yards. Summit up 56-17.

Is that sick? At half???? Frick me. Get him to Como today. We could play him this weekend. On pace for 640 yards and 12 TD's if he played the whole game. Sick.
