DE.....................DT.................DT..................DE.
Loud...................Brantley........Augusta...........Harris
McWilliams.........Logan...........Winston...........Frazier
Brady..................Hatley..........???????...........Williams

That is every single player/redshirt/commit so far. Can't get to 3 deep, not that it's needed except for injury and to create competition. Not much room for error if any of these guys don't pan out. A lot of guys figure to see a lot of first time action this year. If I were the staff, I would be planning for the possibility of Brantley and even Augusta leaving early after next year.

Beckner and Howard would be nice additions to the depth. Davis twins would be icing on the cake for that depth.

Hunt and Echard came to my mind. Was trying to think of the OLine. We have tons of bodies on the OLine and if these youngsters start passing up the other guys, we might look there to.

Is 22 the scholarship number? Cuellar counted for Lawrence Lee's spot last year right?

Seems like it, either way I would think we are done with recruitment of OL, short of a really strong kid like an Evan Boehm, showing up. Cueller's foot quickness and size ( 6-5, 300) spell blind side tackle, seems like a really solid addition to the young guys we already have, and seems under rated as a 3 star.

The only other factor that MIGHT be in play here is that IF Boehm is seriously considering leaving early and opening up an additional slot in the starting lineup we are working to offset that..

There's also a lot of guys Iin the secondary that could get passed up. Ward Rupert and Johnson come to mind as possibilities.

Good info, thanks and glad to hear that.

4-star DT Raequan Williams deciding tonight around 7pm (CT). #Hawkeyes and #MSU. Here's the latest VIP info: LINK

I'd say a 1% chance it's Mizzou

Probably the most I've heard come from Beckner's mouth and figured that quote was worth sharing. Not much in it about recruiting, but like I said, Beckner has rarely talked.

Just passing it along because he did have an offer. Former Nub commit Kendall Bussey is now committed to the Vols. Think he's a 3* RB. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we were pursuing him at all. Would be shocked if we were.

I'd like to see us get competitive for some of these B1G area recruits. Seems like a good way for them to play in the SEC while staying Midwest.

Wouldn't doubt it. Or at least close. He's track fast.

Is our WR coach a turn off for recruits?

I think he is.

Doubt it. He coached several future NFLers in his days at Tennessee.

Yepp. He's the exact type of guy we have to start making inroads with. GP should call up Stoops and ask him what the trick is. If Stoops can go into B1G country and pull kids to UK of all places, no reason Mizzou shouldn't be getting kids out of Illinois and what not.

Well, if we land Beckner then two of our 3 highest rated guys will be for the Ill side.

I agree though. That's the advantage we have in Big 10 country.

What was the deal from his days at UT? He left a few years before Fulmer. Went to MSU then to Southern Miss then to UK. All seems backwards steps. I get that he left MSU, Southern Miss and UK during coaching changes. But each seemed to be a step back no?

3* DT Tyrell Jacobs Louisiana

I'm assuming this is who he's talking about. According to the article, also looking at GaTech, A&M and Illinois.

good, maybe he's more interested in playing in the NFL than immediate game time in college.
