Oh hell ya. It's this kid. LINK

ILB, was committed to Wisconsin.

He's from Concordia, KS if that makes any sort of difference.

Serious question.

Has Joel Thomas landed a single recruit since he's been on staff here?

He gets his lunch ate on the recruiting trail. Can we just go get Larry Porter and call it a day.

Is it just me or does this post by a guy on 247 disturb anyone else?

I sincerely hope KJ enjoys his little bama vacation. Then after a nice visit to Eskimos Joes in Stillwater and a cold, cold snowy trip to Columbus heads back to the rock with visions of hard tight spirals( from Ty) popping thru the a small tight " window" into his & WG's soft, large mitts for Game winning TD's over bama & both OSU's.........as he's signing his NLOI TO BE A HOG!!!

Saw you guys are looking at Skylar Thompson at QB up here in Missouri. Isn't there a big (and by big, I mean big...like 6'4" 240 lb kid) QB in Arkansas who's supposed to be lights out? Think he'd be a junior this year. Foley maybe? Anyways, what's the story on him? Arky pursuing? MLB draft route instead? Kid not pan out? Again, 2016 class, not this cycle.

Kasey Ford out of Bentonville. We're recruiting him but I don't think he's at the top of their list. Even if he was he might be a tough get because he grew up in Kansas and is a huge Kansas St fan. He went up there multiple times this season and tweets about them occasionally.

Kasey Ford is a big kid and has a big arm but so far Chaney has offered 2 Louisiana QB's for 2016.

We may have looked at him, but I watched him play in the playoffs against Park Hill (they lost) and I don't see SEC caliber from Thompson.

Still has another year to get better obviously, but I was far from impressed.

Rafe Peavey made Thompson look D2 in person, for comparisons sake.

Don't count Gragg in the group worried about Hill not being a Razorback. Gragg said he wouldn't have enrolled anywhere early had he not known Hill was also coming to that school. He said Hill is taking the visit because it is free and you get the hospitality, free food and stuff. He called Hill's trip to Alabama a vacation.

Hill is committed to Arkansas and also has taken an official to Florida. He will visit Arkansas in January and could also see Ohio State and Oklahoma State.

I watched a couple/few of his games online. Wasn't thoroughly impressed either. Thompson that is. Good enough but just don't see him ever being a starter.

He almost seems TOO big. Haven't seen him play. Just remembered him being talked about almost a year ago. I remember the KSU ties now that it's mentioned. Think he has some ties to a Mizzou player or former Mizzou player but Mizzou, as far as I know, hasn't been pursuing him either. When I didn't hear of Arky or Mizzou pushing hard for the kid, I didn't know if he fizzled out, if another was a clear leader or if MLB was his openly stated choice.

Thanks for the info guys.

I think he might have come to one of our first games of the year. I could be wrong but I know he didn't come to any of the SEC games while he went up to Manhattan a handful of times.

Yeah, but I don't see us having much of a chance with Shea Patterson.

Also, I believe LSU just hired Patterson's older brother as offensive quality control.
