Derrick Graham is committing next Tuesday. It will be either us, State or Florida
I can't see anyone committing to Florida right now given their inevitable coaching change.
Stating the obvious here, but a win over State would be an enormous change of pace for this season and the program.

You never know with instate kids. Austin Allen, Brooks Ellis and Hunter Henry all committed to JLS and everyone knew he was going to be gone.

Graham commits to Arkansas!

That's a big step in the right direction to beat out #1 ranked MSU and in state Florida.
It's a good sign that we're winning out over strong SEC schools and not just Washington St. Cincy, Illinois, and directional schools.

BB continues to impress recruiting.

Serious question, and this isn't meant to take anything away from this commitment: could he have even committed to MSU? 247 says they have 31 commitments. I haven't paid any attention to their recruiting, but can they take anyone else? Can they take everyone currently listed as a commitment?

His State offer was most likely non-commitable.

Well that looks like fecal matter in my Cheerios.

Sounds like another commitment could happen this week...

I jumped over here to start a final 7 wish list thread, whilst dreaming of him signing along with Barnett.

My Final 7 wish list (of guys we know about currently)
Jalen Merrick G/T 6'5 295 4* 91 Jacksonville, FL
Jalin Barnett G 6'4 315 4* 96 Lawton, OK
Kylan Johnson S 6'3 200 3* 87 Dallas, TX
Jalin LeAndre CB 6'0 185 3* 84 Hallandale, FL
Ford Howell ILB 6'2 240 3* 82 Iowa Western CC [(Memphis) transferred from Wake Forest]
There will be 2 flips that we have no clue about at this point. I'm going to add 2 others to my wish list to go along with Howell, from Iowa Western that are extreme long shots to get Arkansas offers but I think they'd help the team.
Ryan Stanley QB 6'1 180 3* 86 Pembroke Pines, FL
LINK
I like that he looks like a dopey trailer trash beach kid but on the field he's got quicks in the feet, on the fly decision making, the ability to recover a near busted play into something, puts some zip on the ball, seems to put the ball in windows where only his guy can make a play, can make plays with his feet, and he'd be our trailer trash Manziel with flowing blonde curly locks from under the helmet.
I see that Petrino is trying to close in on the kid, so that tells me my eval is way off base, but I like his game.
Even if this Stanley kid can't play QB in the SEC, he seems like he'd be a nice option at a slot WR or even a CB with his quickness and quick decision making.
Oh, and Flanagan HS, is a 8A classification, the largest in Florida and Stanley's led them to an undefeated record, they're blowing other 8A teams out this season.
Now compare this kid's hudl to Storey's. Storey is a statue's statue. 3A Arkansas kids are getting to him and putting licks on him, he throws into coverage a lot, he doesn't exactly have wheels. I think Storey will have trouble evading SEC blitzes and what's also alarming is his ball floats a bit and is kinda slow arriving. His velocity may be overstated, but his accuracy seems to be really good. Dale likes to call him possibly the next Gary Brashears, there's no way Storey plays as a true Freshman.
My other long shot.
Flipping one of the 3 OT's committed to Texas A&M. Maybe we get Sutherland back in the fold, or the kid from Rockwall sees the trends changing for Arkansas and A&M.
I'd also like another S or LB if we don't sign 3 additional OL.

How in the world did you come up with Ford Howell?
Posted on 11/4/14 at 11:28 pm to TheCheshireHog
Was looking at Juco rosters. Saw a big LB, was curious how a white Memphis kid ended up there, googled, saw he signed with Wake Forest, has put on 20 lbs, he seems to fit the criteria that Bielema has stated publicly about Juco transfers, and he's from the same school we got Tretola out of. They're ranked #1 in JUCO football. I figure they have some decent guys.
Ellis and Williams need someone that can push them.

You should forward all of that to Bielema, Smith and Shannon.
