The myth of Texas A&M football

I dont understand how A&M gets so much praise about last season. Yeah, JF got a heisman, but their team finished the regular season 5th or 6th in the SEC and 3rd in the west. And they lost 2 out of 3 of their toughest games. They got out of playing UGA, and USC and had to have a miracle vs Ole Miss and La Tech (gave up probably 600 yards and 57 points, lol). Besides JF and beating Bama, what was so special about last season? They are getting alot of hype this year because of a middle of the pack SEC season.

To the OP: they were the only team in the country who got the deed done against bama. That's kind of a big deal. And JFF is fricking awesome (in a douchebag kind of way)

I believe the reason A&M has received so much praise is the fact they came out of nowhere and at times (i.e. Bama game) played extremely well. Having said that, SEC coaches have had all summer to prepare for A&M offense. It's my opinion JF will have moments where he dazzles everyone but I think overall the success of A&M falls this year.

IT's hard for someone to act like they have been there before...when they have notbeen there before.
This success is new to them and they don't know how to act or handle it.
Last season was only the 12th time, they won 10 or more games and first time since 1998. They have had 4 losing seasons in between those two seasons.
It has been a while since they had anything to crow about so this is not unexpected.

Sumlin has all summer to prepare for opposing teams as well. A&M will not stay stagnant this summer and stick to the same game plan used last year.

To be fair LSU needed miracles against OM and auburn to win and couldn't beat Alabama. Also A&M beat the shite out if their bowl opponent. So the real myth is LSU football

They are delusional aggs who think winning 1 in 4 years is reason to exponentially increase their jizz count. Same could be said for Auburn
