I keep hearing about the heat at A&M games and I know its hot, but I guess I always assumed it was just as hot in SEC. But usually I went to night games or games later in the season.

Is the heat at A&M worse?

Not than any other school in the SEC IMO.

It's definitely a more serious issue than the HUNH offense.

The Bama defense is going to be hyperventilating on the sideline after chasing JFF around in that hot Texas sun.

I know the heat in Columbia, Athens, Clemson, and Gainesville is just unfrickingbearable in September in the stands, let alone on the field. The hottest days of my life were spent in the Sanford Stadium seats: 2008 Ga Southern and 2010 Arkansas

In aug/sept its probably hotter than most but I don't think it will be that big of a difference maker.

It's going to be hotter in CS this year than anywhere. Most of the south has had a pretty average to mild summer. Houston and the surrounding areas have been insanely hot all summer.

Lebron James might give your linebacker some problems if he lines up at tight end.

Most of the SEC venues are all about the same with heat and humidity outside of maybe 2 or 3

In general, the SEC is just a hot arse place to play until roughly late October. Guys are pretty much conditioned to playing it by now, especially fi they went to HS in the South

Haha well my buddy complains about it all the time and when I was there in the jan-march it was already getting to 80s. Then I went again in July and it was hot as balls.

Yes. Factor that in with the up tempo offense. No fake cramping will be needed.

Agreed. It is hot everywhere in the deep south in the summer and early fall.

It cannot be any hotter at aTm. That's just more nonsensical myth being perpetrated by the aTmers.

I was in Dallas TX the last week of June and it was hotter than a motherfricker. Sure, the humidity was a little lower than what I'm used to in Georgia, but it was still hot as a motherfricker. Just because your sweat evaporates faster in the drier air and cools your body more effectively, doesn't mean it isn't hot as frick, and that you can't go down with cramps within 15 minutes.

A game late aug/early sept will be anywhere from 97 to 103 in college station depending on the start time of noon or 2:30. Humidity will be around 90 to 95 percent.

Don't know what it is elsewhere but I bet its at least close if not equal.

As long as we can limit Lebron, no.

LSU complained they lost to us because it was too hot last year, so I guess Gainesville is hotter than Baton Rouge

All the places in the southern states are hot as frick but I've heard the swamp is the worst.

eta I never heard that excuse but our fans never surprise me.
