SEC's all-time greatest football rivalries

With all the talk about Finebaum declaring the Bama-A&M series as the SEC’s new best rivalry, I just wanted to take a trip down memory lane to see what the “old” best rivalries used to be in the SEC (before the Bama-A&M game took it). There are a lot of possible ways to determine college football’s best teams ever, but the least controversial way to determine them is probably by weighing multiple factors, which this site does: LINK. With their rankings in mind, below are the SEC’s top five all-time best rivalries, pre-A&M. Notice that Bama was in the Top 3 old rivalries, even before their rivalry with A&M became the new tops.
1. “Saban Bowl”: #1 Bama vs. #9 LSU (average team rank: #5)
2. “Third Saturday in October”: #1 Bama vs. #10 Tennessee (average team rank: #5.5)
3. “Iron Bowl”: #1 Bama vs. #14 Auburn (average team rank: #7.5)
4. “Gayle Hatch Cup”: #9 LSU vs. #10 Tennessee (average team rank: #9.5)
5. interdivisional game between #9 LSU vs. #12 Florida (average team rank: #10.5)

Coach Muschamp was quoted a few weeks ago saying something like he agrees with Miles, so it looks like both sides support dropping the game.

Yeah, but that series does have a name and a trophy, which is more than the un-named UF/LSU rivalry can claim.
