no blitzing is a good start.

Maybe they should limit the number of defenders across the line of scrimmage once the ball is snapped. That would lower the chances of a QB getting hurt or a RB getting hurt.

When are bama fans and Saban gonna stop whining about this issue? All he does is complain.

Well that and win championships so there's that too.

How many offensive snaps did LSU's last opponent have?

None?

Hell, I remember a UA/LSU game where up to 3 LSU defenders were laying flat on their backs cramped up and out of breath trying to defend Bama's offense. Someone around here can find a pic I'm sure.

FYI, I'm not a supporter of Nick's "player safety" issue with the HUNH offense. Personally, I think he is pushing this agenda for other personal reasons. But whatever floats his boat, he'll either gameplan and defend it or he won't.

3 crystal footballs in 4 years and you can voice you opinions.

With that name I don't think you are allowed to talk down on biblical allusions.

Agreed...I personally have zero, but i can still see when something is stupid, despite the championships behind it.

I would think if you had 3 in 4, you wouldn't want anything changed.

The game of football is played however a coach gameplans within the rules. This isn't the NFL and he needs to stop being a punk arse bitch.

This might breath some life back into this thread.

I doubt there are many out there who in their heart of hearts really believe it's a safety issue. People are typically resistant to change so i can see the fan disapproval part.

Exactly, I would respect him more if he was honest about his reasons behind his argument. Is he going to change the way he runs his program when their are pro scouts claiming he overworks his players? Enough already let's play football.

I knew Saban would ultimately crawfish - that is why it was so much fun to screw with the Bama fans and see if they supported him on that issue in that thread awhile back. They didn't know what to say - so they said nothing.

Like playing with toddlers.

faster? What I'm talking about is somebody needs to answer the question... in the NFL, they play 64 plays a game. We play over 80 plays a game in college, and fast-paced teams play more than that.
I am interested to see if Chip Kelly changes that number.
