I don't think Mizzou will be upsetting anybody next season, Pinkel will be fired and you will have a chance to write your new history as a SEC team. Choose wisely your new coach, it would be the difference between being a contender, or being an also ran.

It's hard to say with Pinkel. Last time he had a losing season at Mizzou before last year, he made big changes to his offense and responded with 8 straight winning seasons. But that was the Big 12. But still better than Dooley was any way you slice it. This year Pinkel changed his OC and is changing offense some. Will results follow again? No idea. We will see.

I think Pinkel is a good coach, but I don't think he can recruit good enough for the SEC, my hunch is that he will win 6 games and will be replaced at the end of the season.

Indy in football, I know for a fact your hoops team and other sports played in the frickin' Metro Conference. And seeing as how going indy in football led to 20 years of irrelevance it doesn't seem like the best planned move. I wasn't there, but I imagine back in '71 the ACC probably decided it already had what was the good football program in the Palmetto State in the form of Clemson, so it told the shitbagger one to GTFO.
