But not like you think.

He said there in NO advantage to a hurry up since the offense is doing just as much work as the defense. If you can't substitute that's your problem. The ref will stand over the ball and allow substitutions as needed. He doesn't see the big hoopla over it all.

They also asked him about offering an 8th grader and Les said he's looking at 4th graders. He would've offered Lebron James in 2nd grade.

Said he doesn't worry about scheduling. It needs to be evened up and all but he doesn't worry about it. He prepares to play the next game no matter the opponent.

He was in rare form today, even for him.

I love the Hatter, but I don't think I would ever use him as a source to prove the strength of my argument.

Thank you Les. Thank you.

FYI I had this same view of HUOs BEFORE we hired Freeze.

I always wondered why Saban and Bielema never mentioned this in their menstruations about the hurry up offense.

I am not like others. Despite his negative recruiting at OSU, I like Les. I think he's a great coach and funny as hell.

Lebron as a DE would have been something.

Because they're both defensive guys at heart. It's what they care about, and what they want their teams to be known for.

I never understood the bitching about this. In Europe, it's not uncommon for professional soccer teams to engage in bid wars for grade-school kids.

Of course he has this stance since he thinks running the philosophy this year will give him a competitive advantage.
