Is that a FU to Harris? No suspense in his announcement.

The Tigers of the SEC (Missouri doesn't count) are getting some solid QBs this week

interesting, I'm sure he has some athleticism, but, per 247, he has a fairly underwhelming 40. Has Gus used immobile QB's successfully in the past?

No...we needed him to throw for the coaches and they must have liked what they saw. White was waiting on our offer. he got it and took it.

Yes.
2007, 2007, 2009, and 2012 were posket passers.

You mean waiting on Harris.

He's not immobile, he'll be able to move around when he needs to. And yes Gus has done great with white QB's before.

immobile is a bit harsh, but he has a +5.00 40 time on 247. If that's accurate, he's not going to be very successful as a scrambler.

Good for Aubbie. Better for us.

His QB's at Tulsa threw for over 5000 yards in 07 and then over 4000 yards in 08. Tulsa also ran the ball for 2400 yards in 07 and 3700 yards in 08. The same QB played in 06 and 07 and threw for only just over 2700 yards in 06.
The QB's those two years ran 197 times combined, but neither were "dual-threat" QB's.
Obviously the defenses that Tulsa sees year in and year out are different than the SEC, but I think it's pretty impressive to have two different QB's throw for those kind of yards in back to back years.

so, essentially he needs a guy that can, or at the very least is willing to run.
thanks for providing actual insight, most auburn posters here bring nothing to the board, but complaints and overused internet memes.
