Sending JFF home was a way for Archie to create a story, not hide it..

I have been thinking this over and regardless of the fact that JFF messed up - Archie could have been cool about it and said basically anything. hang around and we will say your arm hurts. Or let him play, whatever. But send him home?

Talk trash on JFF all day long if you want, and messing up like that should not be done, but the posters acting like the Archie acted to protect his business by covering the real reason - you are more clueless than the people you accuse of same.

Archie knew this story would blow up if he sent him home. He was making a story. Anything attached to JFF goes straight to the presses. Its free advertising for Manning. Most people, especially at this type event would have handled it differently.

He made it a story. JFF may have f'up - but there was no threat to the business other than the Manning academy getting 10 million more mentions.

He's just a college kid having a good time. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

When having 2 sons that are 2 of the greatest QB's to play the game juuuusst isn't quite enough...

Use Johnny Football for advertising. Yep, that's it! He is what they as Mannings have been waiting their whole lives for!

A. The Mannings don't need the press.
B. I'm sure Archie was making an example out of him to the young kids at camp.
C. JFF is a tPOS douche bag.

I felt that needed its own thread. Some people are done with the others. Its a separate issue. We know JFF screwed up - but I don't think he needed to be sent home. Peyton invited him back for the next year. Pro athletes especially know about controlling press and that team mates make mistakes. There was no reason for that.

This story is like everything else that touches Johnny - Free Press. If you don't think he knew that - then YOU are the fool.

Im not saying JFF should not have been late for pratice - Im just saying given the scenario - it is overblown by a mile. Archie wanted that story.

Ir doesn't matter how Manziel got sick, no laws were broken no one was harmed, no ones property was damged.

The haters that jump to call him a tPOS can go frick themselves.

If you think Archie gives two shits about being in the media or what people think of him, you are sorely mistaken. Archie is one of the most laid back guys on the planet. That's why him sending JFF home is such a shock.

Yeah I'm sure he wanted to make a story of an attention seeking douche at his QB camp for kids.

Maybe if he cared about the job he was suppose to do there instead of thinking of it as a paid vacation, maybe he would still be there.

Archie had every right to send his arse home.

Nobody talks alot about Archie anymore my friend. He is on every computer in the South now. The guy that sent JFF home because he was late.

I am saying its debatable whether it needed to be handled this way. Surely some people agree it could be handled different?
