Good luck.

Is this for 790? What time slot would it be?

Agreed. ATL sports radio in the morning is pure fricking trash. My beagles could put together a better morning show, if they could talk, just about what they are smelling in the yard and what might have passed through in the night.

I like the 9am M-W-F Georgia segments that Dowdle does on 680, but I'm usually already at work when those happen.

What so many radio hosts don't realize is that your number one job is to entertain me, even if I don't agree with you.

Boortz did this well...

I think Shockley just started on 790s morning show.
Give him some time. He's got potential

That's fine and dandy but I live in Athens and commute to Atlanta, and by the time 790 comes through the antennae, I'm already on to the Regular Guys.

Don't get me started on the Athens show in the morning. I would honestly rather have Tim Bryant and Martha Z's coffee talk than what comes out of 960 in the morning.

Most mornings I choose to get one traffic report from WSB before I turn the radio off and just listen to the sound of the wind and my own internal dialogue, all the way up 129 to 85 until I hit Braselton.

I've thought about the sound of the wind, recently.

There's been WAAAY too much NBA offseason talk on the dial.
That was one of the lone bright spots about DJ this morning. They were getting into college football discussions (even if it wasn't Dawg related).

92.9, interview is a few weeks from now. They haven't told me what spot yet, I'm just excited about the interview rather I get hired or not. If I don't get the job, I still plan to start my own online syndicate. NOTHIN BUT Bulldogs, Falcons, and GHSA football talk. Hopefully I can be in charge of the theme of my segment if I get on. I need you guys to call in in and keep things interesting. These transplant anti-peachstate call ins sicken me sometimes. Still praying....

Good for you.
I like 92.9.
They don't quite have the college football personalities, yet.
(Cross, Dukes, and Slash carry some football clout. But you can tell that they aren't college football fanatics).

Hopefully, that's where you come in.

Let us know what we can do to help. 92.9 has been the NBA Network the past couple of weeks. Doom and Gloom Braves talk and NBA offseason moves for 2 damn straight weeks.
