I don't. I'm picking USCe to win the East.

They have too many question marks on D to be the unquestioned favorite. It'll probably be a close three-horse race like it was last season.

Dawgs havent won fewer than 10 games with a returning starting QB. We bring back a 5th year senior for 2013.

And even more importantly, we have a very good chance to improve on our running game from the very good 2012 season we had (return all linemen and our 2 star tailbacks along with both tight ends).

Murray didn't redshirt. He's not a fifth year senior unless I missed something

Murray did redshirt. Btw here's what Richt has done at UGA with a returning starter at QB:

02: 13-1, East Champs, SEC Champs, top 3
03: 11-3, East Champs, top 10
04: 10-2, top 10
07: 11-2, top 3
08: 10-3, top 10
11: 10-4, East Champs
12: 12-2, East Champs, top 5

I'd say if history is any guide we're poised for at least 10 wins and a pretty good shot at the east.

You could likely include 05 in there as well as DJ Shockley was unofficially a starter and certainly had plenty of game experience before 05.

He did have experience, but he wasn't a returning starter. In fact, before 2005 he had never started a game. There is absolutely no logical reason to include him in the stats I posted above.

If you're going to do that, then you might as well say we had a returning starter in 2009 with Joe Cox. And hell he actually did start a game prior to 09.

Quincy Carter was a returning starter at QB in 2000, and he was a Heisman Hopeful as well. Led UGA to a 8-4 season, including a 21-10 loss at the hands of the Gamecocks. There's some history....

I'm picking Florida. Their defense will be fricking nasty.

Will Muschamp's defense and a more seasoned Jeff Driskel, is that really so far fetched?

Oh yeah he really got better the more "seasoning" he got last year. Finished strong his last 6 games.

4-2 record 810 yards 8 touchdowns (half of those came against SC) 4INT 61 rushes for 82 yards 0 touchdowns. This guy went all Jordan Jefferson on his the gators and his team won despite him in large part because of the defense.

If Florida is expected to win over 10 games, their defense better be shut down every game. Driskel was miserable against LSU, Missouri and ULL and had their defense not been great, UF could have been a 5 loss team.

You better look at Driskels stats hoo hoo ...sure he wasnt a deluxe pocket passer but completed 65%...he was a true soph qb making really his first start and we all know frosh qbs dont fare well. He had the country's best defense (in my opinion)and a stout run game. What makes you think he wont progress in his second year of starting? He will again benefit from a starchy defense and our run game may be better this year.

UF will beat UGA this year in the WLOCP...book it. Boom will NOT lose to them this year. The east will be decided by UF or USC...and we have to play them in Brice Williams. Vandy will beat teams and look out dawgs in Nashvegas. UT comes to the Swamp, ditto UK & the girls school.
