Each team has a handful of posters with access to each others boards. Will it be acceptable for the winning teams fans to start threads on the losers board rubbing in the pain?

don't worry, y'all won't have to worry about "rubbing it in our face" after the game.

Last year, I was the only person with access to the other team's board (uga or usc,) so if you're thinking about any precedents, check out my posts over there during that time frame. I don't remember being too overzealous on that specific board.

That may have just been my choice for that point in time. It might change in the future, who knows.

I don't know if we should try to socially police each others' posts, everyone should be free to write what they want, but having said that, there may be some repercussions.

I just don't want me or my fellow dog fans to lose our privileges to be a liaison between these two great fan bases.

Why limit the joy of the losing team's tears and seething suicidal humiliation to just the dedicated forum, when we can post our smack on the SECr forum for all to see and participate in??

Part of my agreement to be let in here was that the week before the game, I lose my access because I know damn well what would happen, win or lose. And my agreement was that I wouldn't troll/flame here or I'd get banned from everything. That's why I knew I had to be out of here by then.

I'm going to go back through the thread where I asked for access to the UGA board, and every butt licker that denied me or any of my fellow Gamecocks access ... well, we'll see.

In the meantime, the OP has always been respectful around here, seems to be a good Dawg fan.

I went ahead and looked up what I posted. I was at the game last year, and the next day I was back in Charlotte to see the Panthers vs Seahawks, so I didn't post a lot those days, but what I did write was:

https://www.secrant.com/rant/display.aspx?p=36593505

I'll just use 1 post to sum up all the points I wanted to make, instead of creating a bunch of various spamming threads.

Connor Shaw > Aaron Murray, now we all know. He wins the big games, doesn't make too many mistakes, is much more accurate and is lethal on the move. Shaw is 13-1 as a starter, he's beaten 4 Top25 ranked teams during that time frame.

Lattimore > Gurshall (even with a less than 1 year acl injury), The dynamic duo was absent for most of the game, Marshall got 25 garbage yards on the last drive, but the SC Defense shut them out.

The rankings were right, USC's Defense is LEAGUES better than UGA's. It's not even close.

South Carolina's Pass Defense is MUCH better than some people on here said. Murray went 11-31 (35%), 1 INT, and we had 10 pass breakups.

USC is better in EVERY position (except punting the ball).

Cocks have the past 3 games. Last year I heard a lot of garbage about "USC got lucky, UGA beat themselves, UGA dominated most of the game..." yeah, none of that can be said this year. The Cocks DOMINATED every aspect of this game (except punting the ball.)

meansonny and kneehigh (don't know if kneehigh made the secrant switch), you lost the bet from dawgrant about the winner of this game. I'll let you know what I want to be as your new screenname in a day or two. Whopperdawg, man I bet you're glad you didn't take that bet now.

....and there was a probably a good amount of "u mad, bro?..."

Then there was Jefferson's deadspin thread, and that was a lot of fun, but not harassing.

How do you gain access to another board? I'd like to post on the UGA board.

There's a thread on the help board, and you can also post your own thread about it on the help board. Sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's a little more difficult. The other teams' fans can support and disapprove your "application."

Is there a thread to ignore certain posters? That would be uber handy.

No, there's no ignore feature in this code. The most you could do is hunt them down. You could also try RA'ing them. If I find someone I don't like, I usually make fun of them. I also do that to people I like as well. It gets confusing at times.
