not sure why he pulled starter since that inning was not his fault. The hit batter was bogus call and then the throwing error.

UCLA can't hit worth a shite and they were smashing the ball against the starter. State had little chance if they left him in.

1st base should have caught the ball.

thrown way too hard right into his eyes. I could see how you could miss that catch.

Yeah, if you suck. With all due respect, this is D1 baseball. Catch the fricking ball.

I never thought MSU would get as far as they did with their pitching mentality. Shows you how much the sport has changed with the new bats. The power teams just aren't effective anymore.

UCLA is leaning into pitches, bunting and calling hit and runs. Ultimate small ball that 12 year olds play. Super frustrating to watch too.

UCLA is no where near the most talented team in the Nation, but their coach knows how to play the hand the NCAA dealt everyone. I've counted 4 batters hit that the hitters foot was well over the line of the batters box. One dude was almost standing on home plate when he was hit.

Call it good coaching, but I think it's **** ball. What else is to be expected in this Nation though? The pussification of America continues and touches all walks of life.
