The offenses are nullified, there isn't much excitement

Yes. Granted, with LSU out I'm obviously less interested. But these 1-0, 2-1 games really make me miss the late 2000's.

Leave a hanger up in the zone, easy pop up to left field.

why is loosening up the bats some out of the question? they have obviously toned them down too much when today is referred to as the "dead bat" era

I don't care that LSU is out, its just not enjoyable to watch. Every game is 1-0 2-0 2-1! One swing can't change a game because its a long fly out. The excitement has been taken from the game

Probably the most boring CWS of recent memory.

Good God no. What is better, a 1-0 nail biter or the 21-14 final in 1998 with USC v ASU.

Nope been a great series with great games so far...... We are mad cause LSU couldn't adjust..... That doesn't diminish what other teams are doing.

Either go to wood bats or change back to the old -3 bats. A dead aluminum bat makes no sense

I don't want a 21-14 game, I just miss the days when a 1 or 2 run lead wasn't practically insurmountable.

Of course the MSU fans are entertained, but I'm sure y'all want more excitement. Being down by 2 is almost like the death penalty. Before one swing got you back into the game. That sudden change, that excitement is gone. The 09 bats were perfect, I'm not asking for 21-14 games

Guess it depends on what you like or maybe better said, what you want. The dead bats, less responsive balls with the high seams combined with the huge field serves as a very effective equalizer. I wouldn't know but I suspect this was the desired results when implemented.

Have we not been down late in both of our games?
