Any chance whatsoever Houston Nutt coaches in the SEC in some capacity again?

Maybe as a position coach. I think he would be a semi-decent assistant coach as long as he stays the frick away from quarterbacks. I don't think his ego could handle being under someone else. He likes being on top.

There's no way he comes back to the SEC in the near future

Runningback's coach maybe. He has produced some quality RB's in his day

Jones
McFadden
Cedric Cobbs
Mccluster

One thing I can remember about Nutt's teams is they always had a good RB.

I remember hearing his name come up a lot for a few days concerning the USF job. I remember after we fired him Mark May and a few other ESPN guys said they heard he was going to Memphis. Oh how I wish that would have come to fruition.

He'll be at UGA because he is a born again Christian and so is UGA's administration and athletic department. They do business with each other based on their love for Jesus, not necessarily on their ability to do their job.

His worst one that I can remember would be Bolden, and he wasn't necessarily that terrible (minus his senior season).

I honestly believe he stopped trying after 2009 because Pete Boone wasn't giving him anything he promised when he signed the contract.

Boone sucked but Nutt threatened to leave for Kansas after the season too if you remember. He's a piece of shite

Nebraska was the Arkansas version

I thought it was Colorado? Nevertheless, I agree with you. But I do think Boone played a role in him just not giving a frick after 2009.

The fact that there's so many should tell you Hootie's "loyalty"

Boone is a equally shitty person. I've got horror stories about that guy

Nutt played y'all like a fiddle. Him and Sexton laugh as they wipe their arse with hundred dollars bills from the buyout

Agree 100%. I think at some point before the 2010 season, Nutt decided he didn't want to be at Ole Miss anymore. And of course with the buyout he had he's not just going to quit. Just barely do any recruiting and coaching for 2 years then get your money so you can sit on your arse for a while.

I'll tell a fairly innocuous one. On a recruiting visit Derrick Nix needed to rent a car. Instead of getting something mid-size Boone forces him to get a god damn Chevy Cobalt. How are you supposed to impress a recruit in that car?

Highly doubt it. He'll continue to make a hundred thousand dollars or so a year talking about something he knows jack shite about.

ETA: Not to mention the 6 or so million we got through paying him a couple months ago

Yeah. Every year Houston Nutt has been a HC in the SEC there was a rumor in the offseason about how he was connected to X school's job opening. No one wanted that clown. Sexton just did his thing, got his client an undeserved raise, and now both of them are laughing all the way to the bank.

Damnit, he could have called my husband and gotten a free upgrade

frick both of them. I hope the only place Nutt would be offered a position again is at the same prestigious school as his brother.
