that's about the dumbest thing I've heard a commit say about his school! Talk about throwing up red flags.

You're the one always crying like a bitch.

Also he clearly meant to commend the amazing tutors and advisers. Twist away, eventually you might break something.

You seem to have your true rivals prioritized. Not trying to force one based on our game being competitive for a few years.

Save that for the LSU and Bama fans.

Interesting.

Looks like we have a real winner here on the rant in TT9 guys. lulz.

In the meantime, here is the entire quote, not taken out of context:

quote:

"I did it early so that I can start building relationships, it was the best fit for me and is close to home. It's only like three hours away."

The academic support system in Columbia was a big factor for the standout from Lithonia, Ga.

"There is something about the academics. You just have to try to do the work," he said. "They lead the SEC in academics."

Bonds with the USC coaching staff that were previously formed played another role in the early pledge.

"The D-line coach (Deke Adams), we had a good relationship from when he was at North Carolina," Key said. "Of all the coaches, coach Ward is the one I have the best relationship with."

The biggest reason for the commitment, however was Key's friendship with a pair of current Gamecock commitments.

"The biggest factor was Bryson (Allen-Williams) and DJ Neal," he said. "We have been playing together since rec ball and then middle school and split off in high school. We always said we would go to the same college."

Key said it would take "something crazy" to pull him away from his commitment to USC. He does plan on seeing some other schools on visits before February 2015.

"I promised Tennessee I would visit there. I want to go back to Florida," he said. "I want to go to LSU but I haven't talked to them. I will take officials to Oregon and South Carolina, that's about it."

That doesn't sound the same at all. Not saying one is right and one is wrong, since they are both "quotes" directly from him.

Really y'all he's just speaking the truth about higher education in general. If you just show up and do what you're told, then you'll be fine. That describes like 90% of college classes.

Think about people who fail. It's because they don't actually go to class and do work, not because they're stupid.

thats news to me. Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, Missouri, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee all are ranked higher than South Carolina academically.

Yeah, I don't get why everyone is latching on to the "try to fail" part when this other quote is so much more hilariously false.

quote:

"They lead the SEC in academics."

Holy shite...are we just talking about basket-weaving degrees or what?
