Dalvin Cook
One of our local recruiting guys was saying it (no care) but apparently the Florida rivals site is saying he has high interest in Arky as well (care more)
What can you Florida fans say about this? Any fire to this smoke? Can Bret 'can't recruit' Bielema steal another 5* Florida recruit?

Running back Dalvin Cook, who's committed to Florida, said he has high interest in Arkansas because of linebackers coach Randy Shannon. He called Shannon one of the best recruiters out there and a great guy. He said he's trying to get up to Fayetteville this summer and will probably for sure get up for an official. Cook, 5-11, 195, 4.38 of Miami Central said he grew up knowing Arkansas incoming freshman Denver Kirkland and was shocked that Denver signed with Arkansas. He said he knew running back Alex Collins would ink with the Hogs. LINK

I would want to run at Arky if I was a RB...just look at the Wiscy track record for RBs

Have not heard anything. Kid hasn't taken any trips since committing to UF.

I think it is very early to be concerned by these flavor of the month schools (Kentucky, Tenn, and Arkansas). Everyone knows nothing kills recruiting mo faster than an abysmal season. Not saying this will happen, but imo, all 3 are looking at rather long and embarrassing seasons.
And before Tennessee fans come to tell me about their history, I know, you were great, but its a what have you done for me lately culture.

The 247 recruiting reporter for UF is pretty connected in SFL and has not said anything about AR in regards to Cook.

Arky is going to own South Florida in recruiting. I read that somewhere.

I'm worried Cook might go the way of Mike Bellamy.
Both are exceptional talents, but seem to be a bit of primadonas. I wish so bad he would come to Clemson though so we could try to straighten him out!

I don't think anybody I'm this class can be called a prima donna after you take a look at Joe Mixon. He defines the term.

I'm ignoring everything I read about Mixon, our Arky crootin' guy insists on writing about him like we have a great shot at him.

Disagree. Bellamy and Cook have way different personalities.

I really wouldn't want Mixon. He's a locker room cancer waiting to happen

Bellamy's issues weren't his personality. Almost everyone who's ever met him has universally liked the kid. He's one of the nicer Clemson athletes I've met. His issue is that kid came from some shite 99.99% of this board wouldn't make it through. Not making excuses for the kid, but he went through stuff no one should have to deal with. He just couldn't ever put it past him regardless of the numerous people at Clemson trying to set him straight.
That's not the case with Cook, but I also think he will have an adjustment and derecruitment period when he gets to the next level. He's a helluva talent, and as long as he's not playing Clemson I want him to succeed. I can't imagine what he and Watson could have been together
