Does the rest of the country's apathy with regards to CBB in any way diminish your appreciation of the sport? It certainly diminishes bragging rights. Hell, even with college football I find that the majority of Americans don't give a frick, which kind of keeps things in perspective.

Not really. Actually as a fan of the game of baseball, I actually prefer college to MLB.

Agreed...

I find the playoff structure pretty entertaining too....even if LSU loses, I'll follow it through the whole way...

I appreciate it so much more too, than all of the hoopla the BCS brings. At least teams get to battle it out on the field

Bama sucks at baseball therefore we don't care. However when we become good again we will all jump back on the

Does your being from the south (given that the rest of the country's opinion and stereotype of us is being inbred, dumb, and poor) diminish your enjoyment of life?

Absolutely not, Ole Miss has been eliminated for weeks but I'm still watching. It beats the hell out of NBA Finals in my eyes.

If and when LSU gets knocked out I will still watch the rest of CWS.

MLB is boring to me because it's all about who has the most money and who can basically buy their team to win the series.

And the season is way too long. Same with the NBA.

I feel like the talent pool in college baseball is watered down because the vast majority of elite high school players get drafted (especially pitchers). I wish you could see the top tier talent in the college level. It would also make the MLB draft less of a crapshoot.

No.

What, do you need validation from strangers to like the things that you like or something?

The highest payrolls in baseball are the Yankees, Dodgers, Phillies, and Red Sox.

Last years World Series featured the Giants and the Tigers. No, MLB is not all about who has the money. That's just a convenient way of saying "I don't like it" without having to explain yourself. It's the same as the "NBA players are selfish so I don't watch it."

If you don't like it, then just say you don't, and stop making bullshite excuses for it.

FIFY. Baseball is not nearly as irrelevant as Bama fans desperately want it to be.

Not at all. I couldn't care less whether the rest of the country likes baseball.

Hell, my second favorite sport is lacrosse. Hardly anyone gives a rat's arse about lacrosse.

No, that would be pretty dumb

Ever met an LSU fan?

It in no way diminishes my bragging rights. Now whether the person on the other end cares about what I'm bragging for, is up to them.

Yes, yes it is.

No, no it isn't. But thanks for thinking for me.

No it's not. Horrible comparison.

I did. And I gave my reason(s) why. I don't need for you to correct me but I really appreciate the concern.

I don't need to make an excuse for why I don't enjoy MLB. I'm not trying to duck out of going to a friend's wedding. I'm simply stating why I don't like MLB or NBA.

Go run your game on somebody else kid.

Last year the Tigers had the 5th highest payroll while the Giants had the 8th highest payroll.... You do realize this I would hope
