I disagree. It wasn't Barret Jones or Nico Johnson that led that last drive in Death Valley for the win.

I think AJ is the leader already but he will always be over-shadowed by bama's dominant o-line and defense. Comes with the territory in that system.

He's a terrific QB. I'm questioning his status as the leader of the team. It hasn't seemed like he was THE guy.

Not a negative or a positive.

AJ is THE leader. Saban has applauded his leadership skills multiple times, and Saban isn't the type of guy to praise you unless it's true.

Years ago, Saban made AJ run with the third team offense. Immediately after practice AJ went to CNS's office and complained. Saban said it was a test to see if he was a good leader, and he failed. Since then, he's been a great leader.

My opinion is unless your name is Kiehl Frazier or Jordan Jefferson, the QB is naturally the leader of your offense.

You would think that but he wasn't THE leader, just a leader.

Rightfully or wrongly he carries the weight of the team by way of his position. That doesn't always equate to leading.

What exactly do you want from AJ? 2 titles in one year? I don't get it. But either way.

B Jones was#1 on the O line, but at times (SECC) Big Flukner carried the line. his run blocking was great at times.

3 NC's. Seems to work out well having a leader on offense and one on defense.

Corrected!
