The Royals just finished their best road trip in franchise history. 8-1 and coming back home 4 games over .500

great game last night for the Royals, Chiefs looked pretty good but only preseason, and both Royals and SKC play tonight too.

Damn the Royals might let the wildcard slip away. I know we have over a month to go but damn they need to get their shite together....

Yeah I'm afraid this bad series vs the Marlins is a sign of things to come. Some critical injuries gonna start taking their toll

I had no idea they were only 4-5 games out of the final wildcard spot. Now if we can have a good showing vs Detroit. Basically have 2-3 more series vs Detroit and I believe 2 series vs Cleveland. Royals pretty much control their own destiny for the Division and Wildcard. Hopefully we can get on a good winning streak.

Yeah I figure we're bound to cool off though. We've been un-realistically hot since the break and we simply cannot keep up that pace. Cain's injury prone-ness hurts as well as losing Tejada for the season. I'm just hoping we can finish 2nd and be 5 games over .500 at the end

The good news is that Detroit was on a bad run. If the Royals do good in this up coming series vs Detroit then I have a feeling they'll be even more motivated for the Division or Wild Card. If they play poorly and lose the series then I think it'll mentally get to them. I hope I'm wrong. Just hoping they come out strong vs Detroit. Can't wait til tomm.

Royals sweep the doubleheader vs Detroit today
I went to the Chiefs game tonight, I will upload a couple pictures that I took sometime soon probably. It was good to see Chase Daniel play, and it was also good not to see Jamaal Charles.

I was shocked by the Royals sweep yesterday, wow. As for the Chiefs, seems like the 1st team is doing good vs opponents 1st teams. Some people say they'll be a surprise team, but hey that was said last year so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Went to the game tonight, even though I gave up on the Royals for the rest of the season starting last Wednesday. Oh, and my car was towed.
So my friend got some free tickets and 4 of us went. I met them at the Taco Bell across from the Sports Complex, and we took one car into the stadium. Well turns out, none of us even saw the "no parking unless you are at Taco Bell" signs.
Ah well.

Hey, how about those Cheifs??!! 2-0 now.
I know it was only a one point win but....it's a win against a quality opponent in Dallas.
They have alot to improve on but I think they will keep getting better.
I know one thing, whoever made the schedule this year must be new to making schedules. The Bronco's twice in three weeks this year? I couldn't believe we didn't get the Rams in pre-season either. Then we have all these NFC teams to start the season? What the heck is going on?

I'm going to be in Seattle and will catch Monday's Royals game while I'm there. I don't care much for either team, but if anyone has some superstition thing they want done at the stadium, let me know.
