Big win today!! Dyson with a perfect throw out to home plate to save the game and then Alex Gordon with a 2 run HR in the top of the 12th for the win!

Royals are .500 and it's almost August!!!

First time in my life that I have ever witnessed the Royals be over .500 after the All-Star break.

Wow

SVB, you watching the All-Star game?

For those who weren't aware, the MLS All-Star game is going on in one of Kansas City's suburbs tonight at Sporting Park. 2nd Major League All-Star game in as many years for KC. Now we just need the Super Bowl!

If Sporting Park had 35k seats they would be filled.

ITs good to see. You could feel the tide turning for the Royals over the last couple of years.

Very happy for long suffering Royals fans. I just hope Glass builds upon this foundation.

I'm not sure about the long term outlook...I'm skeptical still, but it's been a fun few days.

I know it's not likely to happen this year (probably for either team), but how awesome would a KC-STL world series again be? I think it'd be crazier than last time.

It would be fun, but I'm not sure it would be very healthy....the shite flinging amongst our own would be :casty :

Cardinals have nearly lost 9 straight. Therefore, it stands to reason that the ugly step sister is sucking away our success. The moment she starts losing again, the moment the Cards start to win again.

Logical.

Wouldn't surprise me really. That's pretty much exactly how it's gone all season

SVB, you watching the All-Star game?

Nah, I didn't watch it live. Was at a surprise birthday party for a girl that I barely know. I am friends with a lot of people that were there though and since I was invited, I went. My cousin was at the game instead of the party though, pretty jealous.

I watched it recorded though. Hopefully Zusi's injury isn't too serious.

Also, the Royals. Wow. The support has been great, but imagine how much more the city would be behind the team if we were even 5 or 10 games over .500!
