Mardi Gras Miracle: Although the 1994 season would be quite a disappointment in terms of the NCAA Tournament (only non-probation year Pitino failed to take the Cats to at least the Elite Eight), this season is best known for the Wildcats' 31-point comeback at LSU. Down 68–37 with less than sixteen minutes left in the game, Kentucky outscored LSU 62–27 to win 99–95 in one of the greatest comebacks in NCAA basketball history.

FWIW, I miss Dale on the sidelines. Great SEC basketball coach. His 15 straight post season appearance has never been threatened since. A new generation of LSU fans have no idea how good LSU basketball used to be.

That is the truth. We were a national power throughout the 80's.

Several come to mind:

The Drive Pt3 (2012- Alabama vs LSU)
The Kick (1985 - Alabama vs Auburn)
The Drive Pt1 (2007 - Alabama vs Arkansas)
The Drive Pt2 (2009 - Alabama vs Auburn)

Non-Bama:
Ole Miss vs LSU - 1972
Georgia vs Purdue - 2000 Outback Bowl
Arkansas vs Texas A&M - 2011
Auburn vs LSU - 1994

Watched? 2010 Iron Bowl.

Best I can recall? Troy at LSU, 2008. Let the bastards get up 31-3 and went on to win 40-31.

Probably not the 'best', but the one I enjoyed most was coming back from 35-17 at half to beat aTm like 41-38 in 2011. The scored like every possession in the first half, and then 3 points the whole second half. It was glorious.

It's not SEC, but to this day the best comeback I ever saw was Bill vs Oilers in the playoffs for the 1992-93 season. Coupled with having to do it with the backup QB and backup RB, it kind of stands alone.

One must not forget the Earthquake game, 1988 LSU vs Auburn.

LSU down 31-3 at home to a Sun Belt team well into the second half, and we score 30 points in the 4th quarter to win 40-31.

LSU outgained Auburn 407-165, holding Auburn to 16 total yards and one first down in the second half. AU recovered a fumble in the EZ for a TD, then returned 3 Jamie Howard INT's for TD's in the 4th to win it. I believe he threw 2 more in the 4th that ended drives. Unbelievable game. LSU fans had to have been sick after that one.

2005 UT vs LSU

UT down 21-0 at halftime @ LSU. Come back to win 30-27 in OT.

The one that fell short would be UK vs Arkansas 2003. Arkansas is up 21-7 at halftime. Arkansas wins 71-63 in 7 overtimes. That was an instant classic.

Not sure it was our greatest comeback in any sport but our baseball team was down 8 runs to Georgia in the 8th inning several years ago and we came back to win. I believe it was the last year we played at the Sarge.

05 UT-LSU was awesome.
I think 28-27 is 1a on my list.

2007 Boise vs. Oklahoma was an epic double comeback.

Arizona vs. Nevada from this year's bowl game was fun to watch.
