...and our bullpen is as good as any. And unless we are facing a Nolan Ryan, the guys are stroking the ball well.

Yea, the pen has certainly been a strength, and Nola basically gives them a day off everytime he pitches. We give Cotton the ball with the lead, we are set.
Luckily Stanek and Gray are done with. We don't have to worry about Rodon, unless we play NCSU for the right to the finals. Not sure about UCLA's #1, but I trust Nola.

I think LSU definitely wins Bracket 2.

Bracket 1 is a little tougher to predict, I'd say it's between Miss St/Louisville. I don't have a lot of faith in Indiana's pitching & Oregon State's bullpen it seems OSU relies on their starters heavily.

I'd love to see the Hoosiers to shock the world. I know MSU would too. Cards are pretty good.

Geaux Hoosiers!

I'm not sure why, but I'm rooting for Louisville on that side outside of MSU.

Not trying to bust balls here at all...but if UL has 2 appearances, and you're guaranteed 2 games per appearance, why are they only 1-2?

I am going out on a limb on this one and saying it is because 2013 hasn't been played yet.

Because 2013 is their 2nd appearance, & they've yet to play a game this year.

Same reason why Indiana has 1 appearance & they're 0-0 b/c they haven't played a game yet.

Odds for winning the CWS were just tweeted earlier:

Odds to win the College World Series now available at @LVSuperBook. North Carolina is the favorite.

@BetChris
North Carolina 2/1, Oregon St 5/2, LSU 11/4, UCLA 10/1, North Carolina St 12/1, Mississippi St 14/1, Louisville 16/1, Indiana 25/1

Don't understand how UNC is the favorite after the really bad month they've had.
