Yeah it sucks balls but thats what happens when stupid underclassmen make stupid underclassmen errors. We've got a good team and they'll be back, they just need to grow a little.
On the upside I'm about to introduce a new Salt Life Game to get us to football season.

Meh, we got where most thought we would and were a couple of bounces away from exceeding expectations. The futures still bright and we have more reason to beat UNC come August. I'm more than satisfied. Would I prefer to not be in off season mode so early? Absolutely. But it is what it is.

I think Holbrook had a hell of a first season for a HC. He was 2 runs from Omaha (or rather 2 errors.)

Seriously, how many 1st year HC's actually make it to Super Regionals?

Still, the team is very young, and we'll be returning a great core group next year...to go along with a great recruiting class and group of people who RS'd last year.

We couldn't control the errors. Nor could NC. They seemed to just make less and capitalize on more.

BTW there is a UNCer sitting beside me at work that is not going to let this go until football starts. It's going to be a long 79 days.

yeah it sucks, but before the season I wasn't expecting them to get to Omaha with what we lost in talent last year.

It was a great first year for Holbrook and did a hell of a job to get us this far, but our young team just had too many costly errors against UNC.

We played far from championship baseball in the 2 losses this series, but we were still right there in a tight game.

We'll be back to contending next season.

That will all depend on our pitching. Losing Webb, Westy, & Belcher's going to hurt. Also Beal is supposedly going to transfer out of SC at least that's what I've heard.

Overachieved in my opinion-especially after seeing us get swept by Arkansas.

Simply had too many errors in the Supers. Like what I saw from Holbrook and I'm encouraged about next year.

Lots of pieces coming back if we can find arms to replace Westmoreland and Webb
