So I have a business meeting today that was setup by a coworker, coworker was unable to attend so she asked me to meet with them alone. I asked the rep's name, and she said Rich Trucks. I told her "I know that name from somewhere...". He and his regional manager come in and see my AU watch and bracelet, and they tell me that Rich played on the 2004 undefeated team. That's where I knew the name from!! Super nice guy, already doing business with their company, but he is now my main contact. I know, CSB, but not everyday that you meet and conduct business with member of the best team in AU history (sorry 2010/1993/1983).

I don't know. I just know he had a strong dislike for him.

Next time he's around I will casually ask if he is still in contacts with teammates/coaches, see if I can get anything out of him.

My CSB post of the day - I played for Westbrook Christian while Brody Croyle and Cadillac were seniors - Cadillac would come work out with us, shoot the shite, just hang out during the summer.. ESPN would come tape practice. Pretty cool looking back - 2 (Guess they would be five star) recruits who made it to the NFL.

Andrew Bone, UA's beat writer, also went to Westbrook. Total douche.

You must be from RBC? I'm originally from Cedar Bluff, and now live in Attalla down the street from Etowah HS.

Attalla, Al? Wow. My mom's family is from there. It's gone down hill a little bit. O'Rear still the mayor?

I actually lived in Ohatchee while I went to Westbrook. Private school, so I was able to commute from out of county.. I'm very familiar with Attalla, my granddad has lived there my whole life. The steel plant closing did a number on that area.

Not an all-time great or even a big contributor, never started a game and was not listed on the 2 deep

I used to mess around with a cheerleader from Westbrook that season.

I also knew the dude that messed up Brodie's knee that season. First game and out for the season.

Larry Means is mayor of Gadsden right not Attalla? Both cities used to be customers of mine.

Steve Means was mayor of Gadsden. Larry was state senator or representative, now mayor.
