Right now, 1 team each from SEC, B1G, ACC, PAC10, BIg East. Pretty good spread from several conferences although the SEC could end up with 3 or the SEC, PAC 10 and ACC could all have 2. The way KSU is playing it looks like OSU, MSU will be in and the conference pride game will be the battle of the Carolina's.

Another thing that caught my eye is LSU could potentially be the only national seed in Omaha, if everything plays out accordingly.

SCar stroking the ball now. I think they'll come through. Perhaps that infielder can get electrodes to the nutz treatment tonight to get his mind right though.

Yeah. Every game is different and we could get no hit or some crap tomorrow but we've been hitting the ball all over the place vs UNC in both games and used up their pitching staff where as our pen got a full-days rest after Montgomery's complete game.

Hell I still feel as if we basically gave them the first game and feel that this series should already be over, but that's sports.

PAC 12. Yeah I know. Hard enough for us old timers to keep track of the conferences these days. I'm surprised I didn't bust out with a Big 8 or SWC reference by mistake.

He flipped a switch halfway through the game defensively actually. Had one really nice play, but I agree if we play like we can I think we take G3 tomorrow.

We need Koop to have another outing like his outing against LSU.

Right and it's doubtful UNC's game 3 pitching gets better. But, baseball is as fickle as they come though.

Honestly I'm more concerned about a well playing SCar than anyone else that might be in the field.

I think UNC should have been eliminated in the regionals. FAU should have had that game gift wrapped several times but major coaching blunders in that game.

Was huge to give Westy & Webb a day off, they've got to be lights out along with Wynkoop in order for USC to pull it off tomorrow.

Posted by graychef I agree. On LSU's side, SC would easily be the toughest opponent in a Game 2 setting.

ESPN would love this match up. Also gives LSU a chance to avenge our only series lost this year.

I think yall will have to do some outslugging tomorrow. All of UNCs pitchers are cashed. Yall should be able to get to the starter early again, and their bullpen will not be sharp after the first two games.

It will take some pressure off your staff, but yall need to take advantage of Fox's mistakes from last weekend.

Yep tomorrows game will be much like G1, a lot of back & forthness. Be one of those slugfest games, 7-6/8-7 games.
