It doesn't mean shite to the entire Kentucky roster
The entire Kentucky roster would be drafted out of high school if the NBA still allowed high schoolers in the draft. They know it is a one year college career.

Playing time still sells and the preception that we are a basketball school and not a football school should help with recruiting.
I hear what you're saying but I think you're missing my point. Playing time is important to kids. I heard a lot about playing time. But those sales lines had little impact because I expected to get playing time no matter where I went.
I don't think Bryant is worried about whether he'll get playing time at IU or UK or Cuse. I would imagine he expects to get playing time no matter where he goes. If he doesn't think like that, then I wouldn't want him anyways because he doesn't sound like a competitor.

Bryant didn't play very well last night. Looks like he is still growing into his body. At the end he was just cherry picking. To get him, these things will likely need to happen:
Blackmon and Yogi from Indiana go pro.
Calipari doesn't offer him a spot.
Syracuse doesn't lose any more transfers.
Then we maybe get him.

Wow. RT @jeffborzello: Because I think Indiana is the heavy favorite. RT @jupo1182: Why no discussion of Mizzou in the Thomas Bryant mix?

I'm not all negative about basketball all the time. I don't know how to copy vines or videos over here but for those on twitter some guy @BLUEChip_Miller just posted a vine of Phillips rejecting some 6'11" dude.

Bryant just announced to Indiana on ESPN.

Ok, I've watched Phillips a few times now this year. My impression...when he wants to be good he can be good. Has way too much of an affinity to take plays off though. Fails to block out the shooter on free throws, if the ball isn't in his hands, he tends to seem not to care what's going on. Defensively, seems very uninterested.
The good is, when he wants to, he can create. Couple drive and dish and drive and kick out plays. Pretty much needed at Mizzou. Defensively, because he does take plays off he can lull ya to sleep and come up with a steal because he is quick.

Is that Levi Cook kid still visiting?

No. We don't want him anymore. He tore his ACL I think.

Jerry Meyer interview on KTGR yesterday.
Thinks MIZZOU gets Woods, Payne, & Eubanks.
Also gives a run town of current commits, big in state targets the next couple years.

That would be a pretty good group. Give us some balance, too.

Woods and Payne I can believe. I hope he's right about Eubanks. Time will tell.

He was/is much less confident about Eubanks. Put it at 50/50. Listed a couple other guys that Mizzou is recruiting.

Completely agree about Phillips. He's kind of a poor mans Pressey. He does have the ability to create which will be much needed.

I would take Woods and Eubanks, Payne doesn't seem like we'd get much from him, another Shamburger type who gives 9 pts in a losing effort type of thing. Mulder apparently eliminated us, which isn't shocking unfortunately. I would rather us Payne's scholarship on another big guy than another undersized SG.

Payne gives Mizzou another ballhandlers. Similar to Clark in that he can play the 1 or 2.
He is a real good shooter. Shot over 40% from 3.
One thing Mizzou needs is players that can consistently hit shots. The number of open shots that Mizzou couldn't hit last year can't happen again.

Isabell is sounding like he's staying now, and he and Payne play the same position. I still think 4* Eubanks, Woods, and Edwards would help us more than Payne. I honestly have no idea who we'll end up with, this is the oddest recruiting cycle I've seen since MA's last year.

I have only seen Payne play once and that was when his team played against Mulder's.
Payne played great that day, was the best player on the floor that day. Hitting threes, getting assists
Anderson seems to like having multiple ball handlers on the floor.
Scouts seem to think that he can come in play and contribute right away.

I can't even keep track. Are we out on Mulder now?
